We spent 4 nights at McGregor Lodge in the 2 bedroom unit, a separate cabin. The staff was very helpful, especially when I arrived with apparent elevation sickness- ginger tea/ cookies and good advice!. The beds are comfortable. The cabin has most of what you would want. It would be nice to have access to a washer/dryer and an additional...

Thanks for taking the time to write a review on your stay with us at McGregor Mountain Lodge. Glad that the ginger root tea helped remedy your altitude sickness. We are finally breaking through some of the clouds and rain to a glorious sunny day. AMEN. The rain posed some issues for the local cowboys this week making the rodeo...

My wife daughter and I stayed at McGregor for three days. We stayed I the Old Caretakers cabin. It was a nice, well-taken care of residence for three days. We had wonderful views of Deer Mountain, and enjoyed grilling on the patio and hiking on the nearby mountain trails. Beautiful sunsets viewed up there, very convenient for a short scenic...

Hi! And thanks for taking the time to write a review on your stay with us at McGregor. Certainly we've seen a significant increase in traffic along Fall River Rd and into Rocky Mt. National Park over the years. This year, they have already recorded approximately a 20% increase due to the 100th anniversary. I guarantee from October through May...

My sister and I recently booked the Lower Chalet Suite (sleeps 6). Our excitement enticed others to join us (5 in all). Susan provided helpful and friendly service in booking the room, checking us in and out, answering our questions, and providing freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. Our kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The rooms were...

Our first family vacation in Estes was a complete joy at McGregor Mountain Lodge. Each day we had elk, fox, deer, turkey and numerous birds in our front yard or on the mountain side right outside our front door! There was even a creek just 10 feet from our door that the kids could play in. Super clean. Super location....

My Bride and I just spent a quick three-day vacation in "our" cabin, number 17. We have been coming here at least twice a year for eight years. We love and appreciate the most picturesque property in Estes Park, if not all of Colorado. Towering mountains, lots of wildlife, clean comfortable cabins, and attentive staff that has become loving family,...

My sisters, our childhood friends of 54 years, and our extended family just spent a week at the McGregor Mountain Lodge, something we have done for many years. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are a nice size, and there is ample parking for visiting family. The hot tub was very comfortable and sparkling clean. We had a new bundle...

I'm a little sad today. I just left paradise. What more can I say? We have been visiting the Estes Park area for the past 20 years. We stayed here and there...until we stumbled upon McGregor Mountain Lodge. Now? We wouldn't think of ever staying anywhere else. This place is the gem of Estes. Why do we continue to return?...

Thanks so much for taking the time to tell others of the "little piece of heaven on Earth" we have here at McGregor Mountain Lodge. It is indeed magical. The birds are chirping here well into the evening hours, and its amazing to see the sunset over the snow capped peaks in the distance. Soon, or summer will be bustling,...
