The only reason for the 4 rating is no showers. Campsite was large and clean. Enjoyed relaxing with Elk, deer, turkeys etc. walking through. Had 2 bear sighting alerts, but no bear appeared, would have loved to see one. Very quiet, nice staff, good week long stay. Again though, no showers although you can go to town and pay for...

Great family adventure. Fantastic scenery and venues. Easy day trip from Denver or Boulder Colorado. Pleasurable roadway and drive to many outstanding viewing areas. Enjoyable day amongst natural beauty.

We're happy we chose this campground as it was only 7 miles from Estes Park and all of the town's amenities. We liked our tentsite, situated comfortably out of view of other tenters. Ice and firewood were available for sale between 5:30 and 7:30 pm each evening. Our only disappointment was that, upon arrival, we were told the bathroom in...

We spent six nights here in early August. We were in loop B site 14 which is was a wonderful site with a gorgeous view. It was a short walk to the site but very private, we loved it. However, the bathrooms in loop B were being renovated and were closed (we had been told they would reopen end of...

I was very pleased with the quiet tent only back-in site. The staff was exceptionally helpful with maps and advise. Very family friendly. Good location for exploring the park trails or Estes Park. I would stay here again.

We stayed here at the end of July with our kids. This campground has a lot of trees for shade, is much smaller than the others in the park and very laid back and quiet. They have someone there to sell ice, firewood, etc. for a few hours every evening. The campsites all seem to have a nice level pad...

We spent two nights tent camping in site #39. We had quite a bit of space but not a lot of privacy as the site was pretty open. The location was very convenient to Estes Park. It wasn't as scenic as Moraine Park, but was still very nice.

No "block party" vibe here. Just inside Fall River entrance and close to Visitor Center, gift shop, restaurant and general store. A4 back-in site gives you lots of room and visual spaciousness and if you want to carry in your gear, site C is great with shade. Second-choice E is nice and D, B and A follow with A offering...

Aspenglen is a beautiful campground right near the Fall River Road entrance of the park. The tent sites are far enough from the road (the RV sites were not) that you can enjoy amazing views of mountains, deer, flowers, and birds to just the sounds of nature. Most of the sites had ample shade (ours did not-so a shade tent...
