Our 'cabin' slept 10 with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, two living rooms, 2 decks, TVs, and a fireplace. We really were roughing it! We were there for my niece's wedding so didn't take advantage of all the facilities, but it would be perfect for family reunions. It is also a wonderful location for an outdoor wedding with...

Yes, I'm a hotel snob. I'll blow 300+ at a five star because I like luxury. I'm also a huge outdoors-woman. I love hiking, site-seeing, riding horses, and just being in nature. I was torn as to whether or not the lodging at Estes Park would negatively outweigh the positively majestic beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Well, it didn't! We...

We like to take visiting grandchildren ranging in ages 5-15 years old to stay at cabins at the YMCA of the rockies. Horseback riding is fun for the older children and the younger ones love the outdoor experiences offered and crafts. We see hummingbirds, woodpecker nests with babies peeking out and like the hiking and nature.

We have enjoyed the cabins at the YMCA of the Rockies for years with our family. It's not fancy, it's OK tho. The views and setting make the sparse amenities well worth it. Our boys grew up loving coming here. Our latest trip here was to participate in a half marathon so we opted for the lodge at the YMCA...

My family has been visiting the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park since 1982, and both my brother and I worked there when we were in college. It's a long-standing, much-loved family vacation spot with lots of great memories. I visited this summer with my family, which included three generations, including a 3 and 5-year old. We rented a...

We always come here in the summer and stay in a cabin, and go on hikes in RMNP every day. We all love it. Dad and daughter love hiking, little boy loves day camp and all the sports activities we do when Dad comes home from hiking, and mom like the peace and quiet, beauty, lectures, and craft shop. We...

We always rent a cabin, and that remains fairly predictable in terms of the experience. This visit we avoided the Pine Room or other on-site food sources because we're talking Golden Corral quality, at least based on our experiences in recent years. An ongoing joke in our family is whether we'll hear "Spartans" marching, chanting, yelling, etc. in the morning...

We had our third stay here, the last two being family reunions. Compared to our first stay six years ago, the most recent stay had some problems. The cafeteria is a zoo on weekends, with periodic difficulties keeping food available in the cafeteria line. On a Friday, our wait for food was a line that extended well outside the building...

We stayed at the YMCA for 7 days. We rented 2 cabins and had at one time 28 family members from all over the US there. First, the staff was top notch. Our orientation counselor was a college student 7 miles from us in Texas. Mel was great! All the activities for the kids were fun and easy to sign...

Fun times with the family, the yurt is my way to go if camping. 12 outlets so we could charge phones and also plug in our portable heater at night. The bathhouse works out and you pretty much have all the amenities you need.. fridge, microwave, fire pit, charcoal grill etc. they provided plenty of blankets but we needed our...
