Two of us stayed for one night in February 2017 in a studio room. It was immaculately clean and we appreciated having the burners and teapot for boiling water and the refrigerator for storing perishables for lunch the next day. The bathroom was roomy with a claw foot tub/shower. Great view of Estes Park and lots of privacy. The room...

Stayed in 1 bedroom. A little small for 2 adults and 2 little kids but ok. The lobby is super cozy to hangout in. Kids enjoyed the pool table, games and free movies to borrow. Would most recommend for couples get away but families will certainly enjoy. Roomy pool area and inviting hot tub with a view.

Came back after our first visit 20 years ago. Very pleased. Nice, clean room. We were in a suite down stairs. Great view from the deck outside the room. Staff was great too. The building is 100 years old but well kept. Expect creaks and various noises form a building of this vintage. Part of the charm though.

This lodge is comfortable. The rooms are average but the staff is very nice. Convenient to have books and DVDs to borrow. Heat was amazing in the middle of winter, almost too warm. Some upgrades might be needed, carpet was worn and bed was pretty squeaky. Restaurant is closed in winter.

We were able to get a Groupon for two nights and it was well worth it. It was quiet, peaceful and had a great staff. The rooms were a nice size with a kitchenette and a little couch to read or watch TV at. There was an outdoor hot tub which was nice to use. I would bet that on...

My husband and I came here for a a short 4 day, 3 night trip after our wedding. We were there the last week of September. We always have wanted to go to the Rockies, and the Crags Lodge provided accommodations in a perfect location near the park, and also near downtown Estes Park. The lodge is situated up the...

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and enjoyed one of the greatest weeks of our lives. We originally booked a studio and were comped up to a one bedroom suite with a view overlooking the town of Estes Park. The Historic Crags has maintained the incredibly beautiful historic look while still changing with the times to meet...

Wonderful time at the Inn, very quiet, comfortable, all decorated for the holidays, everyone at the desk are so helpful, no matter what time of day it is. Beautiful views, tucked away from the traffic, and noise of daily life. I would recommend it for sure! You will love it! close to RMNP,, and close to local eateries, there is...

Ann at the front desk was so nice and so helpful for our first weekend stay in Estes Park. We have been visiting Estes Park for many years, but we always visit for the day. It is much better to spend a weekend and in walking distance to downtown. The weather happened to be awesome for a November weekend, and...

A couple different things I noticed about this property. Firstly, their check out time is 10:00 rather than the normal 11:00. Secondly, they still use actual keys, not cards like the majority of hotels these days. Thirdly, they require a deposit of $100/night which I find incredible. Fourthly, their pool closes at 11:00 rather than the normal 10:00, but that's...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The lodge is ideally located in the heart of Estes Park on the north side of Prospect Mountain and only minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Breathtaking mountain views surround you making this the prefect location for your mountain wedding. The landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park is the steepest in the United States. Sixty mountain peaks over 12,000 feet high result in world-renown scenery and provide challenges for hikers and climbers. The extreme topography creates an amazing range of ecological zones within a short distance, similar to the changes that would be seen in a drive from Denver to northern Alaska. ... more   less
