We were coming from Napa and just passing thru for a night. Perfect for just that. Nothing fancy but great access to the beach! Just open up your door and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Comfy beds!

Came here with the kids, cause of the really good reviews in Trip., we were not disappointed. Our room was in the back right on the beach and was very quiet. We left our window open at night so we could hear the sound of the waves. The kids enjoyed being able to walk to the beach right from our...

Doesn't look bad from the outside, and is right on the beach. Nice ocean views from the back door of my room and a wood deck to relax on and enjoy the view. But the niceties end there. This motel so old and pretty run down. Old, worn out furniture and hard uncomfortable beds. The room came with a small...

Hello, Thank you for the review and your business. I do understand that we are an older facility and that some of our furniture may be a little dated, but I can assure you that our beds are relatively new (all of them were replaced in 2015). All of our rooms do have chairs at the tables, so I'm not...

While this motel is on the beach as advertised it sits directly next to Hwy 101 and traffic noise is as loud as the ocean. The entire reason for booking here was to be on the beach and leave the door open to hear the ocean. Our room had a sliding glass door to the deck. There was no screen...

Hello, Thank you for your review, we do appreciate your business. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay here. We have been filled to capacity every night this month, so it is difficult to move guests into different units. We have also been having screen doors repaired throughout the last couple of months as the local...

I returned to this motel because it simply is perfectly located right on the beach and only a short drive to the awesome Redwood Parks. This is an older motel and there is no breakfast, but what it lacks in those amenities, it makes up perched right along a long sandy beach at the edge of town. Want an evening...

The Crescent Beach Motel is just what the positive reviews said. It is right on the beach. Yes, it is not exquisite...but who cares. If you are like us and come up the Redwood Highway, you've just experience the Redwoods and all of a sudden, right there is the Motel. In fact, we drove past it and had to turn...

This is an old motel, but it is well kept. We spent two nights there. Waking up to the ocean right in front of your door is breathtaking. Although it was immaculately clean, our room had a distinct odor, like it has flooded in the past. We kept the windows open, so it made the smell bearable. I would definitely...

This motel is well situated, just south of downtown and on the beach. Our room did not face the ocean, but we could easily reach the beach. For a local non-chain motel, this place was very well maintained. Our room was quite large, as was the bathroom. Despite being on the main road (Calif. 101), it was very quiet. The...

This motel is reasonably priced, clean, has great service and is actually on the beach! During a 3-week road trip with stays at 8 different hotels/motels, this was our favorite. The rooms are classic 1950's decor for sure - nothing fancy - almost like staying in your Grandparent's spare room, but it's that plus the fact the your sliding glass...

This is my third time staying there. It is so nice, nothing fancy. As I said, it's right on the beach. Crescent City is a beautiful town. Ocean to the front and redwoods to the rear. Spent a week there running all around. Can't remember the name of the restaurant but it's out in the harbor. The staff at Crescent...
