This was a very nice, comfortable hotel. They take added security measures which we liked. (You have to have your key card to get in after a certain time!). Not that we ever felt unsafe, just a nice touch!

Breakfast was delicious and I loved the fact they offered Tabasco sauce packets (first time I have ever encountered this!!)

just off I-40 in the downtown industrial area. Not the best area if you are looking to walk around, but the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they locked the doors and required a room key for entry after hours. Looks to be a popular stopover, lots of trucks and trailers in the parking lot. Breakfast was on of the better along our route with eggs, sausage, toast, english muffins, etc. Lots to choose from for a free breakfast. Pool and hot tub still closed due to covid, and the walls are thin so bring a noise machine. All in all - a good pick for a quick overnight stay.

Beth at the front desk was friendly & efficient, placing me in a downstairs room as requested. Lobby was welcoming with fresh coffee & iced lemon infused water. Next morning, Derek was equally as personable, cheerfully getting my receipt & opening the front doors to let me back in as I left out @ 5:30am. Room was clean & comfortable w/mini fridge (including freezer section for blue ice packs, yay!) Pet friendly room w/laminate flooring was free of any lingering odors from previous pets. Bathroom was spotless with granite countertop & generous supply of bright white towels. Free wifi with ample signal strength & lots of bedside outlets for charging electronics. Bed was firm w/nice linens & plenty of fat, fluffy pillows. Odd that there was no closet or even wall mounted rack for hanging clothes other than a few hooks in the bathroom. It was a bit of a trek to my room from the lobby, down a long hallway & around a corner to another rather long hallway, however there were side doors that were more readily accessible. However, I needed a cart to transport all my stuff (cooler, suitcase, briefcase, misc) so that necessitated several trips since all the carts were in the lobby & of course I felt compelled to return the one I used because, well, it's rude not to. Holding the heavy side door open while single handedly wrestling my overloaded cart through it was a bit of a challenge & my suitcase fell off the cart in the process, almost tipping it over. While all this transpired I noticed a homeless person by the trash dumpsters, which I found both sad & unsettling, so I moved my vehicle back around to the front of the building near the lobby hoping it would be safer there. Once it got dark, I noticed enough homeless in the adjoining parking area that I began to feel uncomfortable walking my dog to the pet area & hurried back inside. Right off I-40 so a bit of highway noise. The people above me were a bit heavy footed, stomp stomp stomp. On one hand, given the exorbitant prices for hotel rooms in ABQ, I found this hotel to be a good value but given the disconcerting proximity to folks who have fallen on hard times, I have mixed feelings about staying here again.

I'm a Choice Privileges member who stays in hotels around 20 nights per year, including Comfort Suites. We arrived at the hotel around 2 in the afternoon and decided to keep driving for another couple of hours toward our destination.
When I tried to cancel, I was told that since we didn't cancel at least 24 hours in advance there would be a $25 penalty. In all the times I've had to change plans with hotels, I've never heard of a cancellation fee as long as the change was made before 4pm.
On top of that, the rooms on the top floor hadn't even been cleaned yet, so we had to settle for a room on a lower - likely noisier - floor.
What a crock! I won't be booking here again.

My wife and I had never before used "choicehotels.com" to book anything. The website was not intuitive. We had worked our way to the end and paid...only then realizing we hadn't input the dates of our stay. Their website took default dates, entered and attached them to our input = wrong date for a paid confirmation! OUCH! I quickly initiated a wholly new stay request with correct dates and paid. I called the "choicehotels" toll-free number to request cancellation of the incorrect reservation, only to be met by deep-accept phone assistance (twice) I could barely understand ( I apologize deeply - I mean no offense to anyone and have no bigotry toward foreign nationals; I'm simply being honest here). I gave up that attempt, and called the Comfort Inn Suites we were to stay in. What a wholly NEW experience. I was wonderfully assisted by "ISIS" who immediately understood the problem and deleted the incorrect reservation while confirming the correct one!!! What a stress load off my shoulders to be taken care of by an experienced and very personable employee of Comfort Inn. Isis is a true "Keeper" and the sort of individual who makes her employer, Comfort Inn, really shine in the eyes of travelers.

Recently moved to Albuquerque with my wife. and when looking for a house stayed here. Had an excellent time staying in the room and talking to Miles at the front desk. Very helpful with telling us all the things to do and eat in ABQ , and gave some ideas on what areas in ABQ we should look at for our house to accommodate what we were looking for. Thanks for the help

Robert was so friendly when we arrived. I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste in the truck and he immediately gave me one. He made our stay feel safe from the moment we arrived. I also liked that the parking lot is enclosed and Robert reassured us that there is surveillance all over the property. I would recommend staying here to anyone that wants to feel safe downtown in a city they’re unfamiliar with. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Robert!

We normally stay at Choice Hotels as our first choice. This hotel has to rank as one of the worse for the creaks in the building. We arrived to the hotel after the evening at the balloon fiesta. We were tired and waited to get a nice night's sleep but it wasn't happening due to the creaks in the floor above our room. At first, we chalked it up to normal wear and tear but the person or persons in the room above us were pacing back and forth for over two hours causing the floors to creak very loudly in our room. We became so frustrated with it that we called the front desk if they could help us out. They called the room and for about fifteen minutes the pacing stopped but then picked up again. Overall, this hotel is not very well maintained. The hallways are dingy and dark. The breakfast was so-so at best (eggs lukewarm, sausages cold). I definitely would not stay here again.

Rooms were clean, personnel were friendly( especially Jose),breakfast was great and the swimming area secure enough for a 3 year old. We were in a non smoking area and there was no smoke smell. Dogs were allow and everyone using the Inn were friendly. Parking was secure and available. Area outside the Inn was a little rough but I walked daily and had no problems.
