I booked this motel for the location near an event in February. I was repeatedly told the rate was $65 plus tax. When I got my Visa bill, it was for over $90. I called without identifying myself and was told the rate was $65 plus tax. After I identified myself as the person who had an excess Visa bill,...

A last chance during the Balloon Festival, and we did not expect much. Did find a clean room with extremely nice furnishings. True nostalgia of the 1950's route 66 and in an area with many places to dine and shop. This would be at the top of our list next time we visit Albuquerque.

We were in Albuquerque for the NM Jazz Festival and Rte. 66 Summerfest. We stayed 2 nights. It was 100 degrees in Alb. the day we checked in; however, the air cond. in the room was not turned on. We turned it on and quickly figured out it was a "swamp cooler". The room was comfortable by the time we...

Clean rooms with no frills. It is in a good location for walking to shops and bars. It is a little expensive for what you get, big chain budget motels offer more for less cash. The pool was in use when we stayed. there was free coffee available in the office.

What a find this motel is! Located in the funky restaurant precinct of Albuquerque is this wonderful, classic little vintage gem which is excellent value for money. Our host Adina and her lovely Son John were so welcoming - and after a long day on the road we felt like long lost family members within moments of walking through the...

Adina and her staff could not have been nicer. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. The room was clean and quiet and large. Loved the fact you could open the windows. Location was great too and the price was more than fair considering the many options for dining. Right on old Rte 66 and...

We checked into one room and our Mother checked into a separate room. Neither had air conditioners that worked well. At 11:00pm it still was 85 F in the room. We tried to get them to switch us to a different room (probably wouldn't have mattered, none probably work), but it was after hours and they didn't answer the buzzer....

My wife and I and daughter and son have been staying at the Hiway House whenever we come to Albuquerque for years now. We first met Adi Pantea and her family when our daughter started her study at UNM and we came in from Angel Fire or Gallup to visit her. We have continued staying at the Hiway House whenever...

I had a great time in Albuquerque when staying at the Hiwayhouse Motel. The neighbourhood is very nice with good restaurants and shops to walk, eat, and shop. Beautifull University of New Mexico is near with free exhibitions. The atmosphere is genuine vanishing folklore: original Hiwayhouse mood in the Route66. Personel is really helpfull and rooms are cool and quiet,...
