I was going to give 5 *s. It is very clean, feels sanitized. Staff are very aware of sanitizing and wear masks. Cesar and Mariana were very friendly and very accommodating. They went out of their way to make up for the lack of breakfast bar, pool and fitness center being open. They made coffee and our breakfast bags for us in the morning and offered to bring it to our room. This morning, Sager was there and he said they don't make coffee anymore. Someone coughed on the machine and they couldn't make it anymore and told me I could fill up my larger cup with the machine in my room. That was that and I wasn't very happy about it. I really loathe those kerig machines. I guess that's my problem, but customer service really does matter. I never touched or came near the coffee dispenser, but one took 30 seconds and the other took 15 minutes........

In such a hard time in our world, here at Baymont by Wyndham, we're taking precautions and following the CDC guidelines. The safety of our guests is the number one priority. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room with two queen beds and a bathtub. The bathroom had a great layout. It had a shower chair. The room itself was very cramped. See photos.

Breakfast buffet, pool, and fitness center were closed due to Covid19. They had us fill out cards indicating what we wanted for breakfast, and we could pick up our breakfast bags in the morning. Pet fee was $20 per night per pet. The parking lot was set up pretty well for moving trucks and other large vehicles.

The location of this hotel is very deceiving by the pictures that are online when making a reservation. The cost of the hotel per night is not even worth the price when you get to the room it is smaller than an average size Hotel. Mobile check-in is an option yet when you get to the location of the hotel you still have to physically check in so mobile is a waste of time. Rooms are not ready on time at the time of check-in. We had to wait 10 minutes outside of our room for housekeeping to finish cleaning which they did not even do a thorough cleaning or disinfecting. Dead spiders were found in the bed clean Linens obviously were not changed clean towels were not put in the room either. Will definitely make sure not to ever stay at a Baymont Hotel again.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend business trip. I became very concerned for my property left in room. The first day I left for business and was gone all day but when I arrived back to go in room I found the door left ajar and could be pushed open.I am pretty vigilant in making sure door is locked and closed when I left so I was surprised to find the door open. The next morning I left and made sure I tugged on door to ensure it was locked and closed. Once again upon my return I found door ajar and unlocked again. This time I had some loose bills and change on the desk that were now missing. I went immediately down to front desk to complain. I was told that it is was late and no manager was on site but someone would call me the next day as I was leaving on an early morning Flight. Fast forward 3 days later and still no call from manager. I placed a call to hotel and was told manager was out but they would pass on the message. Next day no call back. I called next day and finally got a hold of a manger. He did not seem that concerned about the issue and only said their maintenance staff would look into the door closure. I am not sure how this helps me and my concern for my valuables , safety and money that was taken??? No offer of an refund or compensation was ever offered only that maintenance would look at door??? Unfortunately I can not not recommend this hotel for future stays due to this safety concern and managements lack of concern .

Dear Absolute2868, I would like to sincerely apologize that your experience at our hotel had not been perfect and the issues you encountered. During your stay, there were some mistakes on our end and we do take responsibility for the actions. This is not representative of our service and a rare instance when we fell below our expectations. I did talk to my housekeeping team regarding privacy and security for all of our guests. They did inform me that while cleaning the room, they did not or see any money left out nor did they take any currency. I would also like to apologize for the miscommunication between me and you. When I did receive this complaint, I did attempt to contact via phone number but did not get a response due to incorrect information. I am glad after a day, we were able to communicate with each other and hash out the problem. Regarding the door not properly closed right, I did have my maintenance team assure this door lock was fixed upon departure. Didn't arrive until about 10PM so that may be the reason why it was so quiet. I heard no other guests and no traffic noise even though my room faced the freeway. The front desk staff were all very nice and helped me find a place to get something to eat so late. What I am loving about Wyndham is the temp controls in the rooms are adjustable! The AC worked great and was quiet. Didn't wake me up at all when it kicked in during the night. The shower was awesome as well. Hot enough and great pressure even though I was on the third floor. I was right next to the elevator so I did hear people in the morning, but I wasn't woken up by that until 8:30AM. Had a great night's sleep which is what I was there for. It does annoy me that they are "pet" (basically meaning dog) friendly. I hate that Wyndham is pandering to the selfishness of dog worship culture. I don't want to stay in a room a smelly dog has been or listen to incessant barking. Nevertheless, my room was extremely clean and comfortable. Best place I've stayed in years. The only dog I ran into was surprisingly well behaved. No trouble with the wifi. Only complaint is the temp to the fridge wasn't adjustable and didn't seem cool enough. No breakfast during the pandemic, but it's silly to complain about that. I don't know what the reviewer who said they weren't wearing masks is talking about. Every staff member I saw was wearing masks and I felt like a jerk because I accidentally left mine in the car when I checked in.

I lead with (Two Star Hotel) because that’s what it is. If you want 5 star accommodations, pay for a 5 star hotel.

That being said, my room was clean, and I felt safe. I was a bit worried (about traffic noise) when I saw how close the Interstate was, but the way the rooms are situated (on the opposite side), that was not an issue.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle to/from the hotel was quick. I did not use the shuttle to go to surrounding places to eat, but I loved that they offered. The breakfast was hot and good, and one morning, I was leaving before 6 AM when breakfast starts, I went down to ask for cereal and fruit, and they just put out the full breakfast for me - early. They did not have to do that.

The gym was clean. The pool was not open yet, but they allowed me to sit out by it and read. I do think the walls are really think. I could hear others tv, and I’m sure they heard mine. Other than that, I feel I got more than I paid for or expected in a budget hotel, and I’d stay here again.

We have stayed at many Baymont hotels in many different states and this one was the nicest we have seen. Ample parking lot, beautiful lobby. Check in was good. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Request a room on the West side of the hotel for a beautiful sun set view. My only criticism is that the pool is only open seasonally yet the website doesn’t state that. We were traveling with children and wanted a hotel with a pool. Guess I should have called to be sure, but it would be a simple thing to change the listing to indicate “open seasonally”.

Since then, we kept the property clean and as updated as possible. Regarding the pool being closed, here in New Mexico, we have not been able to open the pool due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We do apologize for any inconvenience this brought to your family during your trip through Albuquerque. On any of the booking websites for our property, it does show it is a seasonal pool and closed after a certain time of year. I traveled here from California for my dad had a heart attack and was in the hospital. The front desk was so helpful in getting us checked in early so we could get to the hospital. When he got released a day earlier than our reservation they refunded one night of our stay without problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I called ahead to get 2 rooms close together. When we arrived at midnight, the night clerk was very friendly and provided us with room keys for the 2 rooms close together. The room was nicer that some 5 stars I have stayed at. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. The staff was amazing. We talked to employees on various shifts regarding local restaurants and things to do. Each one of them was very pleasant and helpful. We took the hotel shuttle from the hotel to the airport. We did not have to wait at all and the driver was very friendly. It is not as close to the airport as some hotels, but worth the 5 minute drive and I suspect this hotel is quieter. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding; Eggs, Sausage, Oatmeal, Cereal, Various Breads and a Pancake Machine! The best part was the very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend.
