I booked a much needed massage at "The Spa" inside Isletta Resort and by luck I was given Kyle as my therapist. I have been getting massages weekly for a few years so I am no stranger to good and bad ones. This one today may have been the BEST EVER. The communication, technique, and professionalism were just unmatched to anything I have experienced in the past. Thank you Kyle I hope I am lucky enough to visit you again.

It is very well kept and sanitized. Please allow to reopen. After every individual they sanitize the machine, drink station, and cashier literally. I really feel safe going there and don't feel like I'm at risk of catching anything.

The casino was well thought out. They had plexiglass between every machine and it was totally non smoking which was a real plus so there was no need to take off a mask. There were lots of people cleaning machines all the time. I think they were doing an excellent job.

I am never staying here again! New Mexico was supposed to open -but Isleta still required masks and all kinds of protocols. You can’t enter the hotel except through the casino (Covid rules). You must get a players card. Then once you walk through to the hotel, you have to check in at the front desk. Every time you enter and leave, you must walk through the hotel, resort, and casino to the parking lot. Masks have to be worn everywhere except your room. When you return to the hotel, you must go through the casino, present your players card AND ID. They scan it all in. Spa, Pool, and some eating establishments are closed inside the casino. When we brought pizza back in, we were informed that no outside food or drink could be consumed anywhere but in our room. Understandable IF the eating establishments were all open, but only a few are. I just returned from shopping so not only do I have my hands full with bags and purse etc, I had a tea. So while I was shuffling stuff to get my player’s card snd ID to allow me into the main casino before I walked over to the hotel carrying everything, I was drilled on where I bought my tea. After my 3rd day of this, I firmly told her i brought it from lunch and I was going to take it to my room. That was the last straw for me. Oh -they also do not clean your room, you must call the front desk if you want housekeeping. They will come spray your room, then housekeeping will clean. I preferred not to pack up everything for them to spray so we took our own trash out, our towels, and made our beds. They only way to get attention from housekeeping is to go in the hall without a mask! They respond quickly then. We went to a housekeeping cart to get fresh towels, soap, trash bags etc. So while NM is not requiring masks, Isleta is and instead of opening an exit and entrance directly to the hotel lobby, they have employees following you around in the casino making sure you wear your mask.

I had planned a weekend away for my husband and I for my birthday. I live in Gallup, and work at our local hospital. After the insanity of this pandemic, I was looking forward to a weekend of relaxing. The room was nice and the tub was huge. The beds were comfortable as well. The casino itself felt safe and their cleaning protocols were apparent. Check in staff was friendly. Now the bad: the process of getting in was a nightmare. We had to walk incredibly far because only one entrance is open for the casino and hotel. By the time we got our luggage to our room we were exhausted. The second night we were there, we went to a local brewery and picked up something to drink while relaxing in our hotel room. The front security of the hotel and casino stopped us, took away our alcohol, and stated it wasn't allowed in the casino. We stated we were hotel guests and presented our room key. They said alcohol could not cross casino floor. There is literally once entrance! There are no signs or disclaimers stating that hotel guests cannot have alcohol in their rooms. I asked the security team if someone could escort us to our room with our paid for beverages since there was no such rule for hotel guests. They refused. The security made a huge scene and made us feel like we were criminals for bringing it in. They gave it back and "allowed" us to take it back to our vehicle. It was humiliating. When I checked out the next morning, the front desk person said that alcohol is not permitted in the casino but hotel guests are allowed to have it in their room. How are we supposed to get it to our room without crossing the casino floor if there is only one entrance?! Needless to say, the relaxing weekend away wasn't exactly relaxing. There is nothing on their website about this rule and after paying nearly $200/night, I was livid that I was made to feel this way. Management has yet to return my phone messages as well. If you stay here, plan on walking a mile and please for the love of God do not bring anything to drink to your room.

Hello JayLynEllis, Thank you for sharing your review. We regret to hear about your experience. Due to the fact that there is only one entrance to the building and it leads through the casino floor, we cannot allow alcoholic beverages through our front doors. We understand this is not ideal and an inconvenience. We hope to be able to lift some of our safety restrictions soon enough. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the other aspects of your stay. Thank you.

We tried to check in our comp'd room Friday night. We were directed to a series of procedures where we had to find our room reservation on their promotions machine..an impossible task and the hotel staff person had to get us through this very confusing process. About 10 min wasted on this inane and unnecessary procedure. Why was it even necessary??
Also the front desk swiped our Amex card and put a $50 charge on it for "incidentals." But they actually made the charge and it shows on our Amex account. That $50 should never have been actually charged and should be refunded to us!

At first glance the place seems nice. Got the executive suite and it’s well appointed but shower handle wasn’t attached to the wall, the towel rack feel off in my hand and the towel holder by the sink as well. The casino floor is fine but if you are used to a sophisticated feel this is not the place, dealers wearing tshirts and jeans. Eateries are either closed or expensive. Sports bar treats guests as criminals from the point of entry. But worst of all, management wouldn’t understand the hospitality industry if it was handed to them on a silver platter. Front desk staff are short and dismissive. Restaurant management treat guests like they don’t want them there. The hotel management in general (sales and guest relations) behave like they can do no wrong. Poor Matthew at the sports bar seemed like a deer in headlights when his boss Kevin came over to us and claimed that we were aggressive because we had an issue at this location the day prior and Kevin got an email saying we were unhappy with the treatment we got. This property needs a staff rehire. Perhaps some that know what their roles are - understand how to be welcoming and hospitable and have some level of threshold for complaints. A guests dissatisfaction and expression of such shouldn’t warmest being asked to leave “because the property didn’t meet their needs.” Best advice: read the other reviews and chose more wisely.

Hello E V, Thank you for your recent stay and feedback. While we almost never would ask a guest to leave our property, there are times when we feel it is best for both parties. We (several departments) tried our best to meet your needs and accommodated your party as best as possible, including a complimentary upgrade. In the end, we did feel the need for Security to get involved. Again, thank you for your feedback and we wish you well on your future travels.

I reserved a room with two double/queen beds for an extended family group of three as a stopover on a road trip. Upon arrival at about 6:30 pm, I checked in and we were given a room on the 5th floor. It was a kind of two-room suite, with on king bed in the bedroom and (apparently) a sofa bed in the living area. Since it was getting late for dinner hours at the Isleta restaurants, I decided I could suffer through one night on a sofa bed, so I didn’t go back downstairs to request the room I had reserved.
We had dinner at the Embers restaurant (passable) and spent some time in the casino. We came back to the room after 11:00. I took the cushions (cheap vinyl) off the sofa to open up my bed for the night and found the strangest sign I’ve ever seen in a hotel stuck to the folded sofabed mattress: “THE SOFA SLEEPER is not able to be used at this time.” (See photo) Why not? Was the frame broken? I opened it up to see that all the springs were in place and there was nothing that appeared dangerous. And then I looked at the sofabed mattress, which was not covered by a mattress pad. It was filthy. Disgusting. Covered with urine stains and, well, likely other bodily fluids. (Photo) I folded it back up, found a bag with two flat bedsheets (no blanket), wrapped those around the plastic/vinyl sofa cushions, and used and covered myself with a provided bathrobe.
I’ll note that the room itself appeared to be not ready for rental. There was a kitchenette with a small fridge on the counter, with the fridge cabinet empty. There was no microwave in the space one would typically be found. And the faucet in the kitchenette spit out air and water like it hadn’t been used in months.
The next morning I informed the desk clerk that the room is not suitable for rental. She offered to take thirty dollars off my room rental. I told her this was not an adequate solution; someone actually needs to look at the room, take it out of circulation, and then talk to me about an appropriate charge for renting such a disaster. She told me her manager arrives at 10:00. We had to leave by 8:00, so she told me she’d leave my bill open until the manager had a chance to talk to me.
I never received any type of communication from any manager. Rather, a charge for the full amount posted to my credit card the day after checkout.
Think about it: that sign on the sofabed had been printed professionally, so no doubt it was not the only sofabed “not able to be used.” The hotel management themselves made that determination, or the relevant health and safety inspectors made it for them. Yet the room remained in circulation, and they put me in it with no warning about the disgusting status of the sofabed. And then they completely ignored my complaint after I told them that thirty bucks off was a joke.
Advice: don’t stay at Isleta. If you must, inspect the room thoroughly before settling in. And maybe wear gloves.

The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We called for water and ice since they are not allowed to keep in room due to pandemic and they had it to us ASAP. We felt very safe both in the hotel room and in the casino, extra precaution to make us feel safe but comfortable

We got the Couples retreat room and it was alright. The size of the room was smaller than I expected but it did come with the jetted bathtub that we were having issues with, but we just had to push the button really hard for the jets to activate. They had complementary waters which was cool. The service here was outstanding I’ll say that though! We had a towel man deliver towels to our room literally 30 seconds after asking for more! The lady’s at the front desk were very helpful and quick to get us in and out.
