We just need a site for the night, and hubby called from the road and got us a site. When we got there we were given the paperwork to fill out, the woman on staff was friendly, and she showed us how to get to the site. She suggested the Shaker Restaurant on the front part of the ground, and...

Easy on and off the interstate. We had reservations for one night so we were in and out of the office quickly. The clerk suggested we eat at Shaker's Restaurant as we entered the park. That was a tasty suggestion. The park is huge as our the parking spaces. Roads are gravel and level as our the RV sites. Nice...

We were looking for a quick 2-night stop near Richmond as we traveled through the area. Based on other reviews, we had prepared ourselves for the worst. In fact, it's those reviews that encourage me to write this review. This place isn't as bad as its made out to be- in fact, I kind of like it here. We've changed...

This campground, based upon the office and store, appears to be a former KOA which is not longer affiliated with the KOA chain. It is no wonder. The campground is rundown and the sites are not very well maintained. Because of handicaps, we needed a level site and none were to be had. We tried a number of sites each...

First the staff was very nice. But this place is run down. Pictures on Web must be really old. The lake is two thirds grown over in lily pads and seaweed and cattails. The paddle boats look like they have not been used in many many years and are dirty and rundown except the one which is half sunk in...

Not a premier campground but they charge for one. Sites were uneven and offered little. Full hook-up but no WIFI. It poured that night and the sites turned into mud and stones. Sharp sweetgum tree seed pods covered the ground so made for walking the dogs a bit tricky. Very small store. The staff was very nice. Would not stay...

We have found great improvements at this Campground, and were happy to be able to enjoy the great food and drink at this delightful cozy place. Mrs.Nino (Ursula), takes pleasure to make her guests feel at home. We will spread the good news wherever we go. There are some negative things that need improvement about the campground. The office does...

We have been staying at this campground for 8 or 9 years , every year on our way to Myrtle Beach. It is easy to pull in to, right off I95. There is a huge gas station a quarter mile away that is great for getting started the next morning! Ownership has changed several times, and some years we have...

Without overloading the readers with ALL of the negatives, here were our problems: - the lady at the reception desk was unable to understand or respond to the most simple of questions - enough said - they change our reserved site - twice, as I stood there - due to someone else's preferences. What am I? Chopped liver? -poorly maintained...
