Service is fine and the hotel is clean, but it needs a serious refresh. My room had a stale armpit smell. The old school heating/AC unit was loud, and made a creepy whistling noise when it was windy outside. And there were many small areas of wear and tear ( like the peeling paint and wood on the bathroom door).

The front desk was very helpful and gave us an upgraded room so we could enjoy a better view. The view was mostly of the top of the Salt Palace, but that comes with the location of the hotel. The room was showing signs of age, but was otherwise clean and comfortable.

This hotel was a 4 minute walk to the Vivint center, which was perfect because we walked over to see the Jazz game. The $15 parking with in/out privileges was reasonable as well. We stayed on the 12th floor. We had a view of the parking lot and mountains in the back.. maybe the south side view would've been better....

Clean, great location and nice view but air conditioner was noisy but every thing other than this was great would stay there on my next trip especially as the location was perfect near city attractions and city creek mall

Would call this hotel tired. First I'm not a fan of a non-completely booked hotel where they put you next to the electrical room and elevator. Room smelled of armpit, sink cracked, and the oversized shower head drools rather than produces a decent jet of water. Some sort of electric box (thermostat?) connection was exposed. Not what I call "renovated"....

Stayed at this hotel to attend a party that my work was having in downtown Salt Lake City. The location of this hotel is hard to beat, it is close to the Vivint area, Gateway mall, City Creek mall, and temple square. It is on the opposite side of town from the homeless shelter and it feels much safer then...

I am usually not a tough critic, but I found the hotel average at best. Worst part was the high pitched squeal you heard any time ANYONE in the hotel showered.... the fitted sheets did not fit the bed, there was a lightbulb out in the bathroom, and I had to go down to the lobby to ask about local...

Front desk was very efficient and helpful. Bed was excellent. Hallways look old and worn. Rooms have been updated. Room service is available but there was no menu in my room. The thermostat in the room worked well. Very good location for access to the Salt Palace, Temple Square and the arena where the Utah Jazz play. I found it...

Luckily when staying I looked at the Trip Advisor Reviews and noticed two derogatory items. Parking and the rip off of the breakfast buffet for $18.95. First of all who would ever pay for a breakfast buffet at that price. Come on your the fool!! They are many fine restaurants to go for breakfast in the area. Suggestion walk down...
