We loved our stay here. The breakfast was fantastic and Stephen gave us lots of tips for touring the area as well as tips on restaurants to try. We will most definitely return for another stay. We saw the resident eagle a couple of times and enjoyed watching the boats and ships on the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

And we loved having you. With so many great sights to see and places to eat, we enjoy sharing all the hidden - and not so hidden - gems with our guests. I think one of the eagles just likes to show off for guests. Really there are new things to discover all year long...salmon running in the fall, skiing...

Domaine Madeline Such a relaxing and beautiful oasis. The staff at DM has anticipated everything you need and is full of those special little touches. Delicious four course breakfasts, delightful grounds, and a scenic view of the Strait looking to Victoria. Perfect spot to explore the northern park area. Hands down a must stay! (And the crab cakes are worth...

We're glad you found our little oasis relaxing...and that word of our crab cakes spread to you. We make every effort to honor our guests requests whenever possible. In the meantime, we've got some equally rumor-worthy dishes ready. Hope you can return and try them soon!

Overall, we loved Domaine Madeleine. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the view is spectacular. There was a little "glitch" when we checked in, but it was quickly corrected-a lovely flower and card on the bed to welcome us--but not addressed to us! ! (wonder if we were supposed to get a card for our 25th??) Also, no record of...

Thanks for understanding that we occasionally make mistakes. I'm glad everything was resolved to your satisfaction and that you would consider returning. We'll have another awesome breakfast ready for you, and we'll be sure the right card goes in the right room.

We stayed in the Hoh Rain Forest Suite: spacious, comfortable and with an absolutely incredible view. At my vague request, beautiful flowers were placed in the room -- from the house's garden and at no charge (completely unexpected). Having our morning coffee and tea on our little deck, looking over the Strait of Juan de Fuca, was simply spectacular. The...

Thank you so much for celebrating your anniversary with us and for your review. One of my lucky tasks is picking and arranging the amazing flowers that grow here on the property for special occasions. Glad you both enjoyed them. Hope you can celebrate your next landmark with us!

My husband and I had a trip planned to Olympic National Park. After researching the perfect place this was the one. We have never been to a bed and breakfast before so it was a brand new experience. Domaine Madeleine exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Rialto Beach sweet. Love you was fantastic with Street and Mountain backdrop. The...

Thanks for making us your first bed and breakfast experience. Enjoying the fireplace, Jacuzzi, and the view of the Strait is a great way to end a day of hiking, sightseeing and exploring the Northwest. Hope you get the chance to visit us again some time.

My wife and I enjoyed a short winter stay at Domaine Madeleine as a 'pre-vacation' prior to spending the holidays with family. The stay was delightful. I had previously written a much more detailed review of the B&B... buuuut my browser crashed and I just cant bring myself to re-write the whole thing. Summary- Room was nice, fireplace was lovely,...

You are a wise traveler to have scheduled a pre-vacation. No timetable, no commitments to family or friends, and you can always claim there was no cell service (we promise not to tell about our property-wide WiFi). Sorry to hear about your computer. Technology...grrr. We are all passionate about what we do here, and I'm grateful you recognized it. You're...

Love love love love the Domaine Madeleine. The hosts are warm and smart and funny. The gardens are a very pleasant surprise. The jacuzzi tub in the Rialto Cottage had us stay in one night to have a bottle of wine and a funny movie. The view is spectacular and I can't say enough about the area. My friend already posted about our wonderful stay here last week. Everything was spectacular - the view, the linens, even the sofa bed I slept on. Chris was so accommodating and prepared 5 ***** breakfasts. His tips on the area and how to maximize time were so helpful. Beautiful property and gardens in a lively rural setting. Don't miss it!

And thank you two, too! I'm glad the second bed was comfortable. The Hoh Rainforest Suite is great for parties who prefer separate sleeping accommodations without having to pay for a second room - and you can each enjoy the spaciousness, the fireplace, and that amazing view. If you make it back to the area, we'll be sure to point...

Thank you for staying with us and for your gracious review. It's good to know you enjoyed the views and took advantage of the "Zen" vibe and quiet moments around the property. But we were also excited you were able to book the whale watching excursion and had some awesome encounters. We're used to guests discovering lots of things to...
