Beautiful property, clean cottage, tasty breakfast and excellent service. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and exactly what we hoped for. The town of Port Angeles is nothing too exciting but there was some quality food and the views are lovely. We were passing through, exploring Olympic National Park.

Thanks for staying with us! Yes, Port Angeles is a real, working port town, and the perfect place to use as a base camp for exploring Olympic National Park and the Olympic Peninsula. Glad you discovered the amazing, emerging food scene here. It's a secret we're happy to share with guests. Port Angeles also has a few other secrets in...

The grounds are beautiful, the room was lovely and the bed was so comfy! We stayed here for a night before heading to victoria. This bed and breakfast was in a great location, very close to the ferry.

Thanks for staying with us! We often have guests visit us on the way to or from beautiful Victoria. If you're looking to make the early sailing from Port Angeles, select our 'to-go" breakfast option. We'll put it in your room fridge the evening before so you'll be able to enjoy it in-room before heading out, or on the ferry...

Take note: Only stay at Domaine Madeleine if you have a sense of adventure, enjoy off-the-beaten-path locations, if you're a foodie with a palette for quality food, and appreciate cozy accommodations, fine hosts, and beautiful surroundings. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Domaine Madeleine. We would return in a heart beat. The staff, the master chef, the...

Thank you, thank you for your kind review. So glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the work we put in to make our guest's vacations memorable. You make an excellent point...it would be a shame to be in such a beautiful part of the country only to return to a less-than-amazing room for the evening. We hope we get...

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay here, in the Lake Cresent Suite. The room had recently been remodeled, and had a crisp, new ambiance. It was nice, but not luxurious. We were the only guests during our stay, so we had the place to ourselves, and therefore, a private breakfast the next morning. BTW, you can choose...

So glad you got to enjoy the breakfast, view and local sights. As you pointed out, the Lake Crescent has been remodeled and we've packed in as much luxury as possible into 240 sq ft...a spa tub, separate glass enclosed shower and glass mosaic tiles, gas fireplace, double french doors out to a private patio with sweeping water views, as...

Thanks for staying with us! And remember Olympic National Park is open all year. There are things to see and do that only happen in the fall and winter, like; watching the salmon jump up the cascades, experience the rainforest at its most lush and go snowboarding, skiing or snowshoeing at Hurricane Ridge. We'll send you off with our multi-course...

Domaine Madeleine is an oasis of calm, comfort and relaxation. The property and view are beyond compare. The room was extraordinarily spacious and comfortable. Host was very friendly and helpful. Very well located for accessing some of the best of Olympic National Park. A lovely weekend getaway.

this was our first time staying at a bed and Breakfast. Our room was directly across from the dinning room/commons room. I was worried about our privacy but even with other guests staying there the place was quiet and relaxing.

We're honored to be your first B&B experience, and we're delighted it was a positive one! Thanks for assuring potential guests' that the suite location is quiet and private...especially once you close the doors and soak in the amazing panoramic view of the grounds, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Victoria and the New Dungeness Lighthouse. Really enjoyed the uniqueness of Domaine Madeleine. We had the Hurricane Ridge Suite for 3 nights. The bed was extremely comfortable and we didn't hear a peep from anyone outside our room. Relaxing Bed and breakfast with comfort and a great view. Great weekend getaway or stop over before heading to Victoria, The Yummy upscale breakfast was worth the price. Lavender farms nearby and plenty of long walks nearby.

We're so glad you found our full breakfast experience worthwhile. Many guests select it for at least one of their mornings here, sometimes choosing our "to-go" option on on days they're looking to get-up-and-go early. And for guests who just aren't "breakfast people", opt for no breakfast. We promise we won't be offended. Or mix-and-match to your heart's content. We're...
