we arrived in the evening to this Bnb hidden away in the woods, but with wide open views of the straits, and spring flowers in full bloom in the multiple artistic garden beds, The Rialto cottage had a full view down a grassy lawn out to the water. it was as promised luxurious, with an enormous king bed, a huge...

We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay! Even more flowers and plants are blooming since you were here, and the daylight is starting to stick around fairly late. We enjoy being able to offer different breakfast experiences to suit each guest's needs. We weren't sure if guests would like the Keurig coffee maker, but having a fresh,...

Chris made our stay very welcoming at this B&B, providing us with ideas for dinner and a delicious breakfast. We stayed in the Hurricane Ridge room; which had excellent views, large comfortable king bed, tastefully decorated, private staircase, large deck and a real fireplace. We will definitely be recommending this accommodation to our friends.

Chris checked me in, making certain I knew where all the little extras were (coffee, tea) and making me feel at home. Then, the room - wow! Super comfortable and cozy. And the final piece - the view was simply incredible, even in the rain. I'm planning my next visit now!

When guests consider Domaine Madeleine their home away from home, we know we've done our jobs - and we couldn't be happier. Now that we've "sprung ahead" you'll have even more time to explore Olympic National Park, the Peninsula, and even Victoria B.C. Thanks for choosing to stay with us. We look forward to your return!

Thank you Domaine Madeleine. You made me look like an all-star in front of my girlfriend. This was a weekend getaway for us and it was easily the best decision I've made in a long time. I didn't know what to expect entering through the bamboo gate but I'm happy to say that I wasn't disappointed. We were greeted with...

Just wonderful. We felt welcomed and cared for. The setting couldn't have been lovelier and it was a perfect gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. Our room was tastefully decorated and well appointed. The sheets are just heavenly. The morning breakfast was absolutely fantastic!

Thank you so much for your review and for visiting us. I know, the Comphy sheets can make it difficult to get out of bed in the morning, but natural the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula are certainly worth it. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip!

The innkeepers were welcoming both in person and by way of a kind note and chocolates. Breakfast was superb--quality ingredients carefully crafted, just delicious. We almost did not add breakfast, and were very glad we did. It worked perfectly to enjoy breakfast (jointly with an interesting Irish couple) and then have a 10:00 massage in room. --then a jaunt out...

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a nice review. Yes, the full breakfast experience is worthwhile if it fits in into your plans. For guests heading out earlier than then 9am start time, we do offer a "brown bag" breakfast to go - perfect for a drive or a hike (or just hibernating in-room). Pleasant...

Domaine Madeliene is an amazing B&B. You will want for nothing. Every detail is taken care of for you, and the breakfast is an work of art. The food is so good! It is on the water and is very relaxing. This is a great place for romance and relaxation. The fireplace and in room jacuzzi are also great touches.

I was hesitant to book a bed and breakfast for my honeymoon, but after looking at the website for Domaine Madeleine I was smitten. This place is unlike any bed and breakfast you've ever seen or heard of. The rooms are decorated beautifully and even feel somewhat modern, but still very comfortable. No ugly wallpaper or drapes to distract you...

Thanks so much for taking the time to review us! And congratulations again. Glad we could proved a quiet retreat after all the excitement. (We're not fans of ugly wallpaper or drapes either!) We like to have the flexible breakfast options since one size doesn't always fit all. We are blessed to be able to offer accommodations that are not...
