We spent two nights here and loved it. We are early risers and would sit on the veranda with a cup of coffee and piece of biscotti and watch the colors on the water change as the sun came over the horizon. Dan and Janet are great hosts and Dan informed us of a small country store that had a...

I cannot say enough good things about the George Washington Inn! The property is stunningly beautiful, full of wild flowers, lavender, and views of the Olympic mountains and sound. The room was clean and cozy. The bed and pillows were super comfy. We had a 10am whale watch trip planned, (with the help of the wonderful staff of the George...

We stayed in the Martha suite on the main floor because that's all that was available when I booked. It's wheelchair accessible so had bonus space, including a huge walkin closet/extra bedroom. Also views out to the ocean and to the side, forest. Plus direct access to the grand enclosed 'piazza' and outdoors. Janet and Dan have thought of everything....

It began with the drive up the driveway with the meticulously manicured grounds. The welcome was genuinely warm, the inn beautifully detailed and clean, and the view over the Strait of Juan de Fuca was stunning. Breakfast was as amazing as the view from the sun room. We give the hosts, the facilities, and the hosts the highest possible rating.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time at the George Washington Inn. The Inn itself is beautiful and has a stunning view of the water. There's a balcony that overlooks the water where we took coffees each morning to enjoy the beautiful view and lovely scents of lavender. We also enjoyed a stunning sunset from the backyard. Location wise...

Dan and Janet have created a wonderful property. I was in town for the annual Tour De Lavender bike ride (100 km thru all the lavender farms in the area). Dan was actually the race director for the ride! My Room was the downstairs room which had convenient access to the Sun Room and a private entrance off the side...

Friends and we stayed three nights this past week. The rooms were magnificent, the breakfasts were so good we bought the recipes and the host and hostess were charming and engaging. This inn is what you can only hope for when you're looking for a B&B. Among the best we've ever stayed at.

My wife and I stayed in e General's Suite two nights and loved it. The room is huge, large bathroom, dining area with sink fridge and microwave. We didn't cook in the room but the fridge was great for keeping our water cold and refreezing our ice packs. The jacuzzi tub is made for two and quite comfortable. Then there...

What a find this Inn is! I booked this on line as we wanted to be close to the Olympic National Park and thought this would work out well. The Inn is a replica of Mount Vernon. It was beyond our expectations. Janet and Dan are wonderful --aim to please and are successful. Available to answer questions. The room is...

The George Washinton Inn is quite a lovely place to stay. Dan & Janet are wonderful hosts who know how to run a top notch B&B and offer up a lot of history on the inn and the park area. The views are spectacular and the lavender is fragrant and abundant, a nice bonus for those of us who LOVE...
