ThIs hotel is on the waterfront, has the best views from the premium rooms, and will always be our first choice in Port Angeles. Friendly attentive staff, on site restaurant and close to downtown shops. Yes, it still could use a few more room updates, but I'm sure that will be on the agenda soon. Clean & comfortable is important... More

We love staying at the Red Lion Port Angeles for the view. But the rooms are in need of some refreshing. Not every room, I'm sure, but repairs and replacements as they come up. In our room this time the sheer curtains were all ripped out at the hem and dragging on the floor, the easy chair, ottoman and carpet... More

Great room and meals over the thanksgiving weekend. Restaurant staff were particularly good! Room was clean and view of Strait of Juan de Fuca was outstanding. Hiking trails in area were also a good addition!

Our room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. We slept really well. The view of the water from our second story room was fantastic - the sound of the birds and the waves was relaxing. The location in downtown PA is great. We will stay again when we need a hotel in PA!

Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, view was great, hotel was quiet, restaurant food was good and convenient, we enjoyed our stay and will return again soon. My only recommendation is to upgrade the facility in the near future. Carpets in heavily traveled areas are very worn.

It's a no nonsense place in a very good location when visiting port angeles. Steps from the ferry harbor and walking distance to restaurants. I used the place as base camp to explore the Olympic peninsula.

Love staying at the Red Lion in Port Angeles. We always book the suite which overlooks the water. 600 square feet lots of room with a living room. Is an older hotel but the rooms are clean. It looks like they are starting to upgrade something's like new large televisions and the key card system. Will continue to stay here... More

I travel to Port Angeles 3 -- 4 times per year. There are several hotels to stay at in the area, but I keep coming back to this location. It is centrally located and easy to get to. The staff is always friendly. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel. The hotel, bar, parking lot, and rooms are all... More

Enjoyed the stay. Very nice for the price. I appreciated the front desk clerk helping with the taxes and getting the rate to an even $100 per night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Port Angeles.

Overall an amazing hotel. Weird smell in hallways. Nice setup in the room. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Front staff was always friendly no matter what time of the day. The restaurant (Crabhouse) had great waitstaff although the prices were sorta expensive. Conveniently located near dowtown Port Angeles and the ferry. Overall, if I had to get a hotel in P.A.... Dear paulmgutierrez1130, This review hits all the marks. Thank you! I am so glad to hear that everything went really well. As for the smell in the hallways, this is something we are working on with the City of Port Angeles. There seems to be something in the surrounding ocean that causes the smell and we are hoping to have... More
