Was surprised this was a superior level campground. The non-powered plus 2 powered sites are on a gravel pad. Doesn’t want to make you want to sit outside in the sun. Kitchen is large and clean. Bathrooms could use a reno though.

Stayed on a powered site in our Motorhome for one night. The services and facilities were excellent and the pitch was flat. Chris at reception greeted us with a most friendly welcome on this dull rainy day and was most helpful in answering our questions. The downside for me was that the site seemed rather clinical and bare. I would like to have seen a bit more greenery and character. That said, it is a good stopover along the west coast and probably more spectacular in better weather when you can see the views.

The park does tick all the boxes, however it is just looking a little tired & needing a freshen up to give it the edge it requires to be top notch as a Top 10. None the less it is a neat & tidy spot to refresh after a lot of West Coast walking........

As you can imagine the little old West Coast got severely hit over Covid and since then we have just been focusing on the day to day however i'm pleased to say there are now things happening around the park to spruce it up; albiet one step at a time. 🙂

We stayed in the 1 bedroom motel unit for 3 nights. Was an amazing space to spread out with our 2 kids. The park is a lovely size and kids felt safe riding on their bikes. Good safe playground and the bonus was the spa pool with the amazing views of the mountains. Super friendly staff who are always happy to help. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks very much for an amazing stay

Loved this place. The sort of place that when you leave, puts a positive spin on the rest of your trip. Place was very clean and tidy, staff were polite helpful and efficient. Put a shop on premises for essentials, maybe even a few basic take aways like a pie, or toastie, and the place would be hard to critisize

Wonderful facilitates and friendly staff at this top 10 park. The setting is beautiful but weather conditions were pretty bad when we stayed. We plan on coming back soon to do some additional hiking when the weather is better! This is a very good place to stay and reasonably priced too.

An older Top 10 in need of maintenance and better cleaning. We stayed two nights in early October in a camper van on a powered pitch during six weeks touring NZ. This was our third Top 10 franchise site and far the worst. The only positive points were the pitch was almost level, the electric hook-up worked and the communal kitchen area was relatively clean. The rest of the facilties were just disappointing (especially compared to the Queenstown site). The showers (about the most important factor for campers) are in unheated bathrooms. Of the three showers in the men's room, one had no place to put soap with rusty screws in the wall where there had once been a caddy, the second had a non-working light and all three had only intermittent hot water which fipped from hot to cold every couple of minutes. All three were grubby and the benches in the cubicals were tacky to touch. We reported the broken light on arrival. The manager said "I know about that" but it was still broken on the last morning. Just about sums up the place…

Lovely staff, made us feel at home. Bathrooms clean and warm. First night powered site was a bit sloping for our hired motorhome, happy to let us move to a flatter site. Greta kids playground, exceptional clean laundry. Large camp kitchen and TV/games room. Unlimited wifi Highly recommend

I had an amazing stay at Fox Glacier Top 10 in September 2023. We initially booked for a powered site for the caravan but faced with bad weather and decided to upgrade for a studio. The management was very accommodating. The bed was equipped with an electric blanket which helped with the cold. Peaceful place with good view to the mountains. Has a playground. On a side note, I don't usually write a lengthy review but I must give a special shoutout to the manager, Mateewa and her team. My airline had delayed my luggage and did not deliver in time. My luggage was stranded at Fox Glacier top 10 and I was notified by the team instead of my airline. Not only my airline did not take responsibility to retrieve it and have it delivered from NZ to Australia for me, I had to hire a private courier to have it delivered. Mateewa has stretched out of her convenience to prepare my luggage for delivery and custom clearance which was not her obligation to begin with. She has also been in touch with me frequently to ensure she did it well. I had my luggage delivered in one piece. I can never thank her and the management team enough. top 10 fox glacier is fortunate to have such amazing people representing and working for this holiday park.…
