Good sized motel units with an old school feel. Units were simple and comfortable, tidy and warm. Beds were very comfortable. Electric blanket perfect for the cool evening. Bathroom quite simple but super clean. Good shower and nice towels. Breakfast was the most charming and beautiful breakfast ever - Held in the old cottage. Beautifully presented with lots of coffee, delicious fresh fruit and hot freshly made scones. Fizz is a fantastic host.

We (a couple) stayed here at the start and end of the Otago Rail Trail and its location was great and also had room for our car to be parked while we were on the ride. The rooms were clean and quite large and Fizz was a great host. Excellent breakfast if you take that option. Very close to great cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

We just spent a night there, the night before we started the rail trail. Our unit was spotlessly clean and the heating worked well as it was super chilly outside. Breakfast in the morning is in a very old but beautifully restored stone cottage from 1870. The owner has set it up beautifully and we had fresh scones by candlelight. It was delightful!!

The radiator heaters that are throughout all the units are great in the Winter!!!! Coz it can get cold in Central Otago, but with warm motel units and plenty of layers on it is a beautiful place to visit in the cooler months!! And nothing beats a hot scone with homemade jam to start your day!!

Stayed twice while visiting the region to ride some of the excellent cycle trails, great place to base yourself and secure parking while away. Slightly older style units but tastefully decorated, very clean, well appointed and central. Excellent choice

Great little place perfectly positioned in Clyde. The owners have great local knowledge especially for mountain bikers. If you like dogs this is a perfect place to stay as the two local golden retrievers are so sweet and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Cute older motel but absolutely spotless and clean. It has been decorated nicely and linen was lovely. It might be a tad chilly in winter but there are good heaters in there and the location and easy parking make up for it. We would stay again. Lovely service and gorgeous dogs.

The motel is a standard motel. It has adequate heating, clean showers, and ample kitchen for cooking. The Four Square supermarket is within a few minutes walk and the restaurants, organic food shop, and bike companies all within walking distance. Andrew and Fizz provided a helpful service meeting every request we made. Andrew is an expert on bikes and made some important servicing of my mountain bike.

Two bedroom unit with roomy kitchen dining lounge area. Clean and tastefully decorated. Welcoming hosts full of local knowledge and I highly recommend the continental breakfast. Great base to start the Otago Central Rail trail. We stayed two nights and biked Lake Dunstan first.
