Very disappointing stay for us sadly. Host friendly and lodge looked nice from photos but on closer inspection needs upgrading. Very tired and unappealing rooms . We stayed in garden accommodation on ground floor. The noise from the accommodation above meant we had little or no sleep. The cars also parked very close to accommodation and again this was very...

We had a lovely one night stay in the family suite situated atop the A frame building, set apart from the main house. Facilties were adequate enough for 2 couples for the one night. We could not hear the traffic noises which many reviews seem to allude to, however when in the pool or spa area this is no longer...

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was comfortable and suited our needs. Close to town. Supermarket close by. Short walk to the river and shops. Our fridge broke down and staff replaced it very promptly. Would recommend.

We stayed here for a single night just before the new year in 2016. We stayed in the Blue room, which is a very pretty room with a small but quite functional ensuite. There is a small TV/DVD player, and an open cupboard space for bags etc. The room has double patio doors that lead open out onto a shared...

Thank you very much for your review. We like the idea of tea in the room and will give it a trail run. We apreciate you taking the time to give us feed back.

We stayed in one of the ground floor of the older part. It is an old building with older style accommodation. It was clean and comfortable, the ensuite bathroom had a shower and a separate bath. There is a large guest lounge room and kitchen. So nice to escape the rain on a comfy couch and get lost in a...

This was our 3rd visit to Warkworth Lodge in the last 18 months and I have booked again for next year. The venue is perfect for the group activities I hold for my team and customers. Liz and Geoff always make us extremely welcome and go over and beyond to clear the lounge in order for us to set up...

We used trip adizor's advice in making our selection of this property. Other's experiences very misleading! We found the room to be shabby and not clean. The facility has excellent potential, but needs renovations and upgrades. The wifi system is subpar. We were disappointed and would not recommend the Warkwarth Lodge.

Lovely boutique motel in the centre of Warkworth village. Accommodation is either in modern self-contained units or a room in the villa. The villa is a lovely historic kauri building built in 1908 as the Warkworth Police Home and Constables family residence. We stayed in the Blue Room in the villa. It was very tastefully furnished in blue décor, modern...

The 6 of us arrived (on three motorcycles and a car) and received a warm, friendly welcome from our host. The Lodge was very elegant, and extremely well appointed. Large high-stud bedrooms, lovely comfortable beds, all with en suite, and also access to a large kitchen and lounge for guests to gather later in the evening. This was rather special,...

Thank you. We had a wonderful weekend. It was such a handy place to stay for the Kowhai festival, no driving. The accommodation was very comfortable and the communal areas were beautiful. We loved the spa and will be back to enjoy the pool when it's warmer .
