Service wonderful. This was a nice presented motel with nice views of the blue water. I felt it was a little expensive. Good location but room was small though fully equipped with kitchenette., an apartment would be good for weekly stays. I loved the bamboo chairs in the room, but a bit more room for suit cases would be good,...

Hi Carrie, Thank you so much for staying with us and glad you enjoyed your time on The Coromandel. You are 100% correct - our studios are our smallest rooms and are perfect for a 1-2 night stay. They also provide lovely views of the water. Our chalets and apartments are much bigger . You stayed with us in February...

We booked a studio apartment and the family unit during our stay. The motel is located just a 5 minute walk from central Tairua so easy to wander into town for morning coffee and breakfast. Both units were very clean and well-appointed. We were a travelling party of 12 (staying in multiple locations), and the family unit was plenty large...

I booked the hotel at 11:30 PM and went to the property within 5 minutes. The reception was closed. I am traveling from USA I don't have a local sim on top of that I wouldn't know how to call the property. So I was unable to get a room and had to sleep in the car. However the property...

Guest booked room in the middle of the night through booking.com and didn't turn up. Advised booking.com that she was a 'no show'. Our phone number is on her booking confirmation and on a 2m x 1.5m signed outside the motel. Her phone worked fine when she made the booking. Offered the guest a free room for the night when...

By the main road but not to noisy. Located walking distance to town and cafes. Cheapest rooms are quite small and bathroom pokey. Definitely would want to book a bigger studio room if staying for longer than one night. Water pressure pretty non existent but the manager was nice and the sun was shining so all good.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to leave us a review. Yes, you are correct, our studios are our smallest and cheapest rooms.
