We spent three awesome nights in The Yurt, very charming and private, freshly picked fruits on the table, surrounded by fruit orchards, away from anything else. Core Coromandel location. The kind of place we would stay forever. Drive the gravel road for few km, get lost in the hills, through farms sheeps and cows, walk down to the river and...

We loved Purangi so much the first time we visited, that we came all the back to NZ just to visit again - this time bringing extra family with us. We stayed in the orchard house which is rustic but has absolutely everything you need, and more. I feel at peace in the lovely gardens and looking out to the...

Purangi Gardens accommodation is in the beautiful location of the owner's garden, which is a horticultural delight. We were welcomed with home grown provisions of fresh tomatoes, fruit, home-baked bread and freshly ground coffee. The cottage we rented was the perfect size for us and we felt quite at home there. We also enjoyed the outdoor living space provided by...

We stayed for one night in Purangi House and we wish it could have been a week. We arrived at 5pm and the house was open; fresh flowers everywhere and a big bowl of fruit on the table from Sue's garden. We went straight on to the deck and that amazing view. The house is surrounded by wonderful, exuberant gardens...

We stayed at the Yurt just a little higher above of the garden acommodations. The Yurt was perfectly equipped and lovely decorated with flowers by the hosts. We left without writing into the guestbook, so here is what we would tell other guest: Stock up on Steaks & beers and enjoy the sundowner on the terrace in between the beautiful...

We couldn't be more complimentary of our hosts, fresh baked bread and fruit on the bench on arrival, freshly ground coffee and very quaint cottages in a secluded and quite garden environment. Had a very enjoyable stay, would definitely go back.

At 2.30pm after a long drive we arrived to find the house still occupied with guests. Rod (the caretaker) told us to come back. When we returned Rod gave us the key and we entered the house to find there were half full wine glasses from the previous occupants and the kitchen, fridge and tea towels were dirty. The bedsheets...

We had the most wonderful time here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Susan and Rod were the perfect host and we can't forget Silky the cat. The freshly made bread, fruit from the orchard and the fresh eggs were the perfect touch. It was a taste of the Coromandel of old and hopefully, it will remain that way. We...

Purangi Gardens is one place we hope to return to, for a week's stay. We loved both cottages, as we stayed twice during our Coramandel journey. Loved the country feel to these cottages with well equipped, efficient kitchenettes, Bar B Q's on the patio/deck, quiet lush surrounding gardens feel private. The fresh fruit and bread that Susan shares is a...

This property is well off the beaten path and consists of 4 small cabins or cottages. It is rustic and homey and surrounded by gardens that were probably well planned but not that well kept. This whole property seems to be the income generator for the couple that manage it and they live there in their own home and care...
