We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here. It was clear on the website that we could opt for room only or room with cooked breakfast. We opted to have breakfast provided and it was delivered to our room at the agreed upon time. Both breakfasts were great and adequately sized. Included a cooked breakfast, juice and the tea/coffee provided in the room. First morning was a big breakfast style and the following morning was eggs benny. Plenty of tea and coffee provided in room for us. Small sized UHT milk was supplied, however if you like a lot of milk in tea/coffee I would grab another small one (though they do bring extra fresh milk with the breakfast). We had room 4 which had a lovely sunset view from the balcony. Was lovely sitting here for breakfast in the morning also, watching the birds. Spa was really comfortable and positioned so you can privately enjoy a spa while viewing the trees/sunset. Loved the addition of a little tipple of fortified for us in room. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and happy to have a chat with us. Is on the main road, but didn't notice too much road noise from our room. Quite close to the attractions too. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

By unusual I only mean that we normally don't holiday so close to home and activities and dining habits have to be adjusted in these new times.
The accomodation is a little dated but the hosts more than make up for that, they are engaging with interesting conversation and if you elect to have breakfast included you won't be hungry until dinner time.
Facilities are good, location means a little driving although there is a service available which we didn't use that would take you to local restaurants and return you home.
Room is well equipped with all the information you need to enjoy 2/3/4 nights away.

What a lovely home to stay in. Such a lovely room, with a large share spa bath. Hosts are so friendly & helpful. We felt relaxed & comfortable. Breakfast is optional at a small cost. We chose to enjoy breakfast on the balcony & it was lovely. Close to the Eagle Heights hotel which makes for an easy spot for a quick meal & this hotel has great views of the Gold Coast. Thank you, we will stay again.

Very disappointing. It was barely just ok. It is not a bed and breakfast, just the bed part. The website advertising the property made everything look amazing and people rave in their reviews about the wonderful cooked breakfast they got. Pretty sure these are very old reviews under the previous owners. We were told by the unsmiling and almost grumpy host to head up the road if we wanted breakfast. It was more like an expensive, glorified backpacker hostel but poorer quality in all honesty. There is only so much you can dress up with fancy cushions and splash of colour on the walls. The room was dusty, smelt heavily of mould, rubbish from previous guests and there was no water pressure in the showers. Oh, and there was no hot water either. There were half empty tubes of used shampoo, soap and no conditioner. Add to that a cockroach or two in the room to top it off and the decision was very quickly made not to ever return to this property.

Wow, what a beautiful place to stay and our hosts were wonderful, very welcoming and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! The breakfasts were superb with everything you could wish for, really filled you up for the day! Zaga and Dragi were the perfect hosts and spoilt us with homemade bread and many extras! Can't wait to go back, thank you. Kim and Pete xx

After driving for 4 hrs, we met a guy coming out the front door who said " I gather you have a reservation ring the the bell" no introduction no welcome.
After ringing the bell was meet by another gentlemen who asked the same question then preceded to tell me if want breakfast there places up the road to eat. So much for bed and breakfast.
Water dripped from light in bathroom during rain
On the plus side the room was clean and modern with a large spa, although there was a sign to please conserve their tank water. Why have a spa!!!!!
After reading other comments I thought I must have got there on a bad day.
I wouldn't recommend Tambaridge B&B after my experience.

The website was wonderful.....translating into reality was another matter.
Outside the establishment was a FOR SALE notice...we should have been warned.
We had booked on line and the price was quite hefty. Arrived from Brisbane at around 2.30 pm and rang the bell several times. Eventually mine host arrived and asked "oh, you were supposed to arrive at 5 pm" No welcome, how do you do, hi, I'm Robert. Reminded me of the show "Grumpy old men".
The room was nice, good furnishings, lovely bed. Nice balcony, but the table and chairs were covered in dust. Bathroom had a great spa. No wardrobe. OK.
We ate out, and had a lovely night's sleep with bird calls and the bush awakening us. Breakfast???? " Oh no for the tariff you paid, no breakfast" $360 for 2 nights!
Out all day to delightful Mt Tamborine, and back late afternoon. The room had not been made up, no replenishment of supplies, extremely disappointing.
The next day, when we were putting our luggage in the car, the only comment was "Oh you're leaving". No PR skills at all.
I might add, we were the only guests for the two nights we were there.
I have run small hotels overseas. I know guests may be pains in the backside, but if you don't like them, get out of the business. A smile, a gossip, the offer of a glass of wine do wonders.
The owner proffered he and his partner had been running the establishment for 16 years....I reckon it is time to go.

Do you expect to get Breakfast when you book into a Bed & Breakfast and pay $210.00 for one night. Forget it if youstay at Tambaridge Bed & Breakfast. You will be directed to Eagles Nest down the road to buy your own Breakfast. Also don't expect to use your room aircon except from 4 till 11 pm. Outside these times your room aircon is isolated and not available for your use. We were not told about the lack of breakfast until we arrived at the property.

I cannot fault anything at all. It was an incredibly peaceful time away for me to recoup and regroup. I don't know why people have had issues with the discoloured water. The water is this colour from the tannins in the leaves there's nothing impure about this its natures finest. Robert was an absolute pleasure to deal with he greeted me with a warm smile and gave me a hug when I left I loved my room! I didn't want to leave. The breakfasts were delicious and just being able to sit on the balcony with the trees blowing and that crisp fresh air to breath in while having a nice glass of wine was heaven! I can't wait for another break so I can come back. ❤️🙏🏼 Alix
