Detailed Reviews
This hotel Motel is old and yes its not 5 star by any means but the place is clean and the beds are comfortable. Price is about half of the great ocen road accomodations and its only 20 ks off the main road. Has a great atmosphere and the dinning room food in the adjoining hotel is magnificent and affordable

Stayed one night on way to World superbikes.
Pub food is great but the motel rooms are very average for $120.
Carpet was dirty and the room smelled musty. The sheets were clean however. One of our fellow travellers commented that his duna had stains all over it.
Perhaps the biggest annoyance was upon making coffee in the morning, NO MILK!

We dined there on Friday evening and I was rather disappointed with the meal. I ordered flake and whilst there was a lot of it, the fillets were paper thin and smothered in a stodgy floor batter. There was no lemon or vinegar to go with it, just a sauce that I guess was meant to be tartare but was rather tasteless, as was the entire dish. The other person dining with me, ordered a medium scotch fillet and that was served as very well done. I understand that it is a pub but the food should still taste good. Certainly for the price.

Stopped here for lunch whilst doing a tour around the area. Wasn’t sure what to expect but was VERY plesently surprised. The bistro area is “old fashion” style but extremely clean. The tables were all set up for lunch and layed out perfectly, even down to real napkins which you rarely see these days. The meals were all very reasonably priced. We ordered, lovely friendly staff. Our meals were huge, I had the lamb souvlaki and my husband had the steak sandwich, Both meals were tasty to eat. Can highly recommend going here rather than the distillery which is more expensive. Would definitely go back if in the area.
