My partner and I had the most lovely two night stay here. This is a beautiful property, complete with every amenity you could imagine. The grounds are truly stunning and the owners have turned this into a magical paradise. We live in NYC and this was a wonderful escape. I appreciated everything about this place. Couldn't recommend it more!!

It was clean, relaxing and nature was surrounding the location which was evident with wild animals such as kangaroos, visible depending on the times. We ordered bbq and breakfast packages which were all present when we arrived at the cottage. The packages were great. Flo was also quite fast in solving problems when there was a problem at the cottage even at night, she sent someone to fix the problem. I would recommend others for this wonderful holiday spot for short or long stays.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Bay and Bush Cottages is a very peaceful and quiet place to stay. All our guests enjoyed every single moment, Kids and Adults love seeing all the wild animals especially the kangaroos around. The Chef who is French, prepare all her hampers fresh and make sure that everything is well presented. Flo is an excellent manager and loves her business. Until then hope to see you again very soon.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Murrays Beach cottage, the cottage was immaculate, absolutely spotless and so very comfortable. We were welcomed with smiles from the reception staff and wine and a lovely note acknowledging our 30th Anniversary, absolutely unexpected and wonderful. We had everything we needed for a self contained stay but we chose to indulge in the dine in hampers for dinner and breakfast both nights and mornings. Wow! the food was incredible! and we had soo much to nibble on during the day with the home made jams and dips and sour bread. The Chef when she brought our seafood platter even reheated our crayfish on our stove and set it up for us which was just lovely. Such friendly staff telling us where the food had been sourced and how it had been made was really interesting and engaging. We would stay here again absolutely 10/10 for friendly service.

There are 8 cottages spread out on 23 acres of land, they are quite far away from each other, so you feel like you have the entire site on your own, you can have a bush walk on the site, closely seeing kangaroos jumping around was cool & fun. The accommodation is fully self-contained, very clean and tidy, with new beddings & towels. Internet, dishwasher & air-con are all working very well. The landlord is very friendly and helpful, provided us a potable heater in the bedroom upon our request. The camp fire was fantastic, we had enjoyed a great time sitting around the fire to have a chitchat with our friends. Table-tennis was fabulous too, we played a session of game and it was great fun. Overall, we are very amazed and impressed of this accommodation, and would highly recommend.

We stayed the long weekend in the Hyams cottage. The grounds are huge with a good distance between each dwelling. Parking is ample for any vehicle with any trailer, no matter if you've got a boat, caravan, anything. With 7-8 dwellings on a huge setting, you are not going to be disturbed at any stage. The national park is just next door with no fence, allowing wildlife to enter the property unhindered. This cottage we were in had a smart TV, big sofa, Kingsize bed, spa, BBQ and functional kitchen. The house was cool even when it reached 30 degrees. The cottage does have aircon and a ceiling fan, but didn't use either.
The grounds also house a firepit and gazebo if you want to be more social and spend your time there with other couples. The reception area has a small library and games area with a cafe that can make coffee for your morning fix.
Husky is just a short drive away with all the facilities it offers. There is a large supermarket less than 10 mins away which also houses takeaway shops, newsagents etc.
Overall, we had a great stay and were so sad for the weekend to end. I'm sure we'll be back.

Dear Marcus, we sincerely appreciate your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay in Hyams cottage during the long weekend. We are glad to hear you had a wonderful experience, and we're thrilled to learn about it. Our spacious grounds and thoughtful distancing between dwellings provide the ideal setting for privacy and tranquility. It's great to hear that you found the cottage well-equipped with functional amenities and that it remained comfortable even during warmer weather. The communal areas such as the firepit, gazebo, and reception with a café always welcome guests for social interaction, and we're pleased to know you enjoyed these offerings. With Huskisson just a short drive away and easy access to essential facilities, we aim to provide both convenience and serenity. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to hosting you again in the future for more memorable getaways. Bay and Bush Reception Team

We paid over 1k in total for this accomodation and its quite average. You're expected to clean up after yourself which I wish I knew this before we booked because who wants to have to deal with this on holidays. The beds, oh dear. They are VERY hard. It's difficult to get a good nights rest and after 3 nights I'm looking forward to leaving. Feeling disappointed about that because the way its advertised is different to what is reality. It's also an expectation that you replace what you use plus in terms of oils and tea and coffee. So are we as guests supposed to go out of our way to get down to Coles and replace some oil because you can't? They also give "complimentary" wifi, don't know what that's about which runs out in like an hour or so, so in order to just find some places to eat there's no reception here. the staff are friendly and no complaints there, however they do the bare minimum and charge heaps. I don't think we'll be returning only because for this amount of money you just don't get anything really worth it.

Your feedback came as a bit of a shock considering the adjacent reviews. Our reception is open 7 days a week for all and any queries. We wish you had taken the time to come to us to address your concerns which could have been addressed straight away and made your stay more comfortable. The supplies on offer are complimentary and there is no need to replace them. Our team is there to replace them, should you run out while staying. Our beds are brand new and we are sorry to hear that they are not to your comfort level. Our past reviews show that the vast majority of our guests find them entirely satisfactory. Please note that we recently upgraded wifi and communication system to Starlink to match urban services. The expectation with regard to cleaning is to leave the cottage in a respectful manner. Should servicing during your stay be required, that can be arranged. As a boutique accommodation provider, the comfort and satisfaction of our guest is of utmost importance.

We spent 3 nights in the Callala Cottage (2 couples). The cottage offers enough space, but a separate additional small bathroom or toilet would be perfect. For 2 couples it’s inconvenient, the toilet and bathroom is only accessible through the main sleeping room! Quality of equipment was ok, all was clean. For a short stay perfect.

The location is great as it is not too far from Jervis Bay and Huskisson. The Murray cottage was above our expectation, it was spacious, beautiful and clean. Home away from home. The estate was very peaceful, serene atmosphere and great bush surroundings with Kangaroos. There are good distance between each cottage. Loved there is a communcal campfire and individual BBQ at the cottage. The kitchen was well Equipped too just need to bring groceries. The staffs were friendly and helpful and did a great job in maintaining the rooms and facilities. We ordered a Berry tart for our Annivesary and they packaged it really beautfully and wrote a card for us. Thank you for our wonderful time here!

As we arrived to our cabin the heating was already on and there was jazz music playing. A wonderful way to start our stay. The breakfast hamper was great value, eggs bacon and all. The bed was suuuuper comfortable. Everything worked well, very neat and tidy, all seemed very high quality.
I would give this 4.5 stars because we had to tidy up our own garbage, wash all the plates etc which we weren't aware of until we got there and we saw a checklist.
