Hidden Creek Campsite is your escape to peace and tranquility. Nestled amongst 5 acres of bushland and surrounded by the Currambene Creek, Hidden Creek Campsite is privately owned and offers a REAL camping experience with your very own camp fires in natural surroundings with an abundance of wildlife and birds. Hidden Creek Campsite (also known as Jervis Bay Cabins & Camping) is the perfect setting to relax. Why not read that book you have been wanting to pick up, but never found the time, throw a fishing line in the creek or just spend quality time with loved ones. For the more enthusiastic, take a kayak out from our very own boat ramp and head down into Huskisson for lunch. Don’t forget to bring your bikes, scooters and outdoor games. In addition to our powered and unpowered camp sites, we also offer a variety of cabin accommodation to suit all budgets and needs. With Huskisson only 5 kms down the road (a 5 min drive), you are on the edge of the beautiful white sands of Shoalhaven.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife & I have just had a 2 night stay in a cabin at Hidden Creek Campsite which we thoroughly enjoyed. If you are looking for peace & tranquility then this is the place for you, it is just so quiet. It is the home of resident peacocks, chickens & ducks that roam the grounds, we were told we may see a kangaroo that hangs around. Hidden Creek Campsite is only about a 5 min drive to Huskisson. We found Tracey & Kevin to be great hosts & made our stay very enjoyable. We will certainly be returning, we can't wait

Thank you for your kind and generous review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at our beautiful campsite. We are very blessed to be surrounded by such a natural environment and also be close to the many wonderful beaches the Shoalhaven has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you both back again soon.

Our adult family with a few little ones recently booked 4 cabins in this beautiful back to basics quiet and tranquil campsite. We enjoyed 3 nights where we just chilled out by the camp fire and fished in the creek. Our days were spent exploring the local area and introducing our grand children to the abundant Aussie wild life around the camping grounds A big thanks to the campsite hosts Tracy and Kevin for providing such a place. We camped in a cabin, I know that's just cheating but hey, we are aged pensioners and beds are just not at the right height in a tent for us and a few home comforts are always welcomed. We loved our cabin, it had everything we needed including a/c, fully equipped kitchen, TV plus a verandah with BBQ, we certainly didn't want for anything. The camp is in a lovely wooded area with the creek running nearby, and there are heaps of camping facilities for the genuine campers to use. Owners were exceptionally helpful and would do anything for you if required including providing us a map of the area marked with the must see destinations and a highlight for us within the camp were the native animals and birds, of which there were many. We certainly loved everything here and would definitely return given the chance..

My partner and I camped for a couple of nights here and very much enjoyed the camp site. There was ample space in our waterfront site (unpowered tent site). You can have a campfire at your site. There is a small shop in the office with varied supplies. The hot water in the shower operates with a dollar coin for four minutes. The facilities are cleaned regularly. You can hire kayaks and canoes. You definitely need insect repellent! There are a lot of possums that can raid your camp at night/ like to visit you

Gorgeous property on the banks of Currambene creek. Lovely camp sites with ready made fire pits to use. Was able to moor the boat on the bank so we could pop in and out of the water easily whenever we liked. Everyone who we spoke to was helpful and cheery. Another friend joined last minute and they accommodated us quickly even though they had to rejig some bookings. Will be back, thanks!

Very poor/unprofessional customer service. We contacted them over 2weeks prior to our booked date, as we were no longer able to attend, however she refused to provide a refund to us. We paid extra upfront than what was required as the deposit (silly move) however after lots of back and forth she only agreed to a $5 refund, as she claimed they had an admin fee for a bank transfer (this is not written anywhere on the website or in any correspondence), and seemed to be made up on an effort to not have to return funds. Would not recommend this place if there is any likelihood you will need to change dates.

We stayed a couple of nights, owners are welcoming and friendly and any concerns are dealt with promptly. (Our gas had run out in the cabin we were in, it was fixed straight away). Chooks, peacocks and native wildlife are a nice addition, laundry available and cabin was spotless. We supplied linen and owners are safely abiding by careful covid protocols.

It was such a relaxing time, staying at Hidden Creek Campsite. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin was bright, clean and a comfortable with an amazing view of the local wildlife to wake up to. Thankyou to the friendly hosts for making our weekend so special.

Showers dont work not hot water there is no pressue not to mention you have to pay for the showers ontop of the $75 fee per night which is very high compared to other camp grounds! They charge you extra for having kids $10 per child and for what for nothing theres not even a play ground for them nothing for them to do! I dont understand what that charge is for when you have to pay extra to use the facilities! Would not recommend or be returning here again! Its a rip off joint!

It saddens us to read your disappointment in our beautiful campsite Hayley and had we known when you were here, we would have loved to address the issues with you at the time. It looks like you would have stayed with us during a public holiday peak period and on a powered site, hence the higher rate. Our rates are competitive with all our competitors in the Jervis Bay area. The showers are coin operated, ($1.00 for 4 mins of hot water). This helps us greatly reduce water wastage, as we contain and treat this on site and also ensures everyone gets to enjoy a hot shower. We were not aware that you did not have any hot water. As you know, we are a natural bush campsite. There is much for the children to explore and learn about nature and all our wild life and birds. It is wonderful to see the children's excitement when they find our furry and feathered friends. However, we understand that we are not for everyone.
