An amazing hotel with exceptional views, wildlife, food and knowledgable guides - it was incredible how they spotted some of the rare animals in the thick amazon jungle! Big shout out to our guide Oscar, local guide Shyan and paddle man Cleber for making our experience 1000 times what we were expecting. You have to bare in mind that you...

We highly recommend this lodge. We saw caiman, 6 kinds of monkeys, many birds, giant otters. Excellent naturalist guides. Good food. Getting there is an adventure too. Visited local village. Some of the rooms are over the water.

We were guests at the Napo Wildlife Center Ecolodge for 5 days and 4 nights. Our cabana was lagoon-side and comfortable. The lodge has been described as luxurious and 5 star. It may be a superior lodge relative to others and a striking property, but it is not a luxury one. There were some housekeeping issues. We noted quite a...

What an amazing experience. I can't say enough positive things about Napo. One of my best traveling experiences ever. The lodge was immaculate and homey at the same time. I believe it was 7 levels that tiered to the top with stunning views to watch for the Caimans on the lake and the monkeys with a cocktail in one hand...

Spent 4 nights here with the aim to see the wildlife. The numbers seen were disappointing and often those we saw were far away and difficult to see through the canopy. Canoe trips are the main activity. To get to the bird clay licks is a long day, wake up call 0430 back to the lodge by around 5pm. I...

There are several options to stay in Napo province, but I recommend you to choose Napo Wildlife because: - it is far from Napo river (basically a fluvial highway with some oil chimneys). Just the trip from Napo river to the lodge is a luxury! - It is inside Yasuni National Park, a magnificent protected area, full of birds, monkeys,...

Spent three nights ,4 days in this oasis. Staff are all very nice and willing to please. It's in a gorgeous setting overlooking the lake. There are elevated walkways where you can watch birds, tamarin monkeys jumping around the trees. If you're lucky you can also spot the giant otters feeding in the morning or the black cayman that is...

This lodge and its activities give you the chance to experience the Amazon jungle and all its flora and fauna close up and without the mozzies, as the lake is too acidic for them. We were gently paddled in a canoe through the jungle which was a wonderful experience in itself. Caiman and giant otters swam just a few feet...

Loved the experience of staying at the Napo lodge in the Amazon Basin! The friendliness, knowledge and enthusiasm of the staff and guides at the Lodge was very much appreciated! The location is marvellous and the wildlife is impressive - sloths, monkeys, giant otters, anacondas, caimans and birds everywhere! The cultural experiences of an indigenous managed and run lodge was...

The Amazon Jungle is an amazing experience and we really enjoyed our time here. We did have a few issues with an otherwise excellent stay. 1. We were in hut 1. It is immediately behind the restaurant area. There is no glass on any of the hut windows only mosquito nets so you can hear absolutely everything. If you are...
