This is a nice place, next to the center of Mindo and beside of the river. Double rooms are right in the middle of the jungle in modern and very well made wooden cabanas, if not in the main building. Cosy rooms and good beds! The bathroom was quite small, but ok. Take a night walk in the small jungle...

This hostal is perfect for families on a tight budget, backpackers or just a base for the many activities in and around Mindo. It is rustic and simple has a great breakfast for just a few Dollars more and is - as already mentioned - beside a chocolate factory. Great place to spend a few days of vacation!!!

Mindo is a small town where everyone seems to know everyone... And when you stay at Casa de Cecilia, you are welcomed immediately! The accommodation is pretty nice; I liked that the dorm was open (large windows!) and it was fun... It felt like sleeping in a well furnished tree house. Mosquito nets are provided :) there are also hammocks...

The staff is really great and will help you with any activities you want to take part in without pushing you at all. The rooms are nice and clean with fresh sheets and towels. The breakfast is excellent. Really liked the location, a couple of minutes walk away from the main street but has a feeling of being remote as...

I stayed in a 3 person room downstairs with a view of the bird feeding area. So cool! I sat and watched the birds eat and swoop by for almost an hour. So beautiful and peaceful! Beds are comfy, rooms are clean, bathroom was clean. Great location, walking distance to the bus. Right next to the AMAZING chocolate factory (which...

La Casa de Cecilia is charming! We stayed in a private cabin with its own bath which was clean and lovely. The staff was excellent, very accommodating and ready to help. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the garden and watching the birds at the feeders. You can even take a swim in the little river!

Great place to spend the night as you explore the zip lining and waterfalls. I would also recommend using them for the tours, especially if the ladies husband can give you a ride in the back of their truck. Lots of fun!

We stayed for two nights in the 4 bed dorm upstairs. Very clean, amazing patio and birds every where. The hammocks on the deck are well positioned to watch toucans, tanagers, hummingbirds, and Mott motts. We did a birding tour with Irman who works out of Bio hostel. He was excellent. We saw 36 types of birds including green toucans,...

The place was incredible! next to the river, 5 minute walk to the town, however it felt like it was so far away from it. Nature all around and the service was really warm. They have all the information about the activities you can do. I am definitely comming back!

I stayed here for a few nights with some friends. We had one room with 5 beds (a single and 2 bunk beds), and the room across the hall with one bed. This place has a rustic look and feel, but we enjoyed our time. This is definitely not the place for you if you need western style comforts. At...
