Located right in the center of Cienfuegos, this casa has a very charming colonial style to it with the long staircase that leads to it. The cleanliness of the casa was acceptable and the breakfast in the morning was good. The sleep wasn't so great due to the fact that they didn't have air conditioning. It was still a nice... More

I stayed at Casa de la amistad in Cienfuegos with two friends, Mario and Andrea. At first, everything seemed fine except that the place was being managed by 2 people that were not Armando and Leonor. After returning home late at night, we found out that we had been robbed although the room was locked and with no visible signs... More

We tremendously enjoyed the old colonial house, the great views from the terrace, the central location, the food and the warm welcome of Leonor and everyone at the house. Although we only stayed for a night, we felt immediately at home.

Such a lovely couple running this place, right in the middle of town. Very nice food and drinks. And an interior, a setting that you simply have to experience, to top up your Cuba trip. If you want a chain hotel, stay away. If you want a great experience, do your booking right away.

Unfortunatelly we cannot stay in this casa, even I have booked stay here 2 month in advance to be sure they have place and re-confirmed stay twice, last time 4 days prior visit. But when we arrived, smiling lady told us, we are late (it was 7pm) and our room is not empty, that we should call this day by... More

I can not believe this place is highly recommended in many guide books. I am sure it was once a good place, but there has been any investment in years. Knowing that owners of casas are rich by comparisons to normal Cubans there is simply no excuse for terrible showers and bad beds. Breakfast was horrible wight he fruit being... More

I was staying in this family house for two nights in Cienfuegos with my friend. The family house is very centrally located and just not more than one minute' walk to Parque Jose Marti and about 10-15 minutes' walk to Viazul bus terminal. The house owner, Armando & Lenor are very nice family couple, also her lovely cats!! The old... More

This Casa is just beside the main square in the centre of the new part of Cienfuegos. Close to bars, shopping & restaurants. It is an old colonial house with a lovely roof terrace with a good view of the city where you can sit and relax. Breakfast was good and we tried the famous chicken in cola for dinner... More

I loved this town - the people were so nice, found some unique art and we felt very easy walking around with no hassle - just a great relaxed vibe about the place. We had lovely time in this casa, both of the owners were welcoming - we were given maps, watched welcoming video and got a real mama reception... More
