My partner and I booked the "Shamrock Beach House" for ourselves and our families this summer. The link said no beach access, but not the phone we were told to ask Angus when we arrived about how we in fact could access the beach. When we asked, he informed us there was none. This is false advertising. At the very... More

I do want to say that the person who checked us in, Angus, was very nice, helpful and knowledgable. We got some info on local sights etc. The main area is like something between a bar, dining room and lounge all rolled up into one. It's nice and comfortable and there is access to the back yard where you can... More

The picture on the web site looks quaint and cozy. Looks can be deceiving. The staff was friendly and breakfast the next morning was very good. We were apparently upgraded to the suite. This is up stairs with a bedroom and bathroom across the hall. The tv was at the end of another hall and after turning it on found... More

My husband and I booked a night here off of the reviews and were very excited for a cozy night away. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly lady who did seem a little confused about our booking. We had booked a single queen room as per the pictures on the website, instead we were given two... More

Beautiful historic building, that was both warm and comfortable. We booked it on a whim, for a quick 2 day getaway and were both SO glad we did! Beautiful setting, backing onto a waterfall (which we didn't know until we go there!), a short stroll from a soft sand beach. We spent probably two hours just walking around the fisherman's... More

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at the Port Albert Inn and were pleasantly surprised! When we first arrived late on Friday, one of the owners (Angus, I believe?) was extremely welcoming and helped get us settled in then showed us a map of the area and gave great suggestions of things to check out while we were there.... Looking for a place not too far from home, just a short getaway. I must say we found the best when we booked a room at the Port Albert Inn. It was a short but beautiful drive from London, the Innkeepers were great, as was breakfast & I loved the ambience and all the local history!

The Port Albert Inn is full of history & alot of nooks & crannies to investigate. I would not say it was luxurious but it was wonderful in its' own way. I had a great little room with all I needed. It was a quiet, relaxing enviornment & the owners (father & son) were very helpful & full of wonderful... More

This was our last stop on a 4 day road trip. I found it on the internet and prebooked the 2 bedroom suite for 4 adults. I have to say it was one of the highlights of our trip. It was everything I was hoping for and more. We arrived about 5 pm and it was getting a little chilly.... More

We checked in late and were greeted by a very friendly man. He was very informative of the area and had great recommendations for food. The atmosphere was very tranquil. They had candles lit on the tables inside and out as well as going up the stairs. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The next morning... More
