This was the most beautiful restfull and quite place. The Landlady was very caring and made us welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. The breakfast was good and wholesome. The veiw over the bay was awsome.

I arrived very late at night and Joyce, the very helpful inn keeper was ready and waiting to welcome me, a kind and thoughtful gesture as not all B&B's offer such service. Vespers by the Sea is a beautiful and tastefully restored former nunnery, the ground floor rooms - reception, dinning room and parlour are comfortable, many informative books of...

Vespers By The Sea is an incredibly well restored B&B with phenomenal decorating, that will take you back in time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with touches that share the rich history of this mining area of Cape Breton. The main floor parlour room and breakfast area are beautifully accented down to the smallest detail and you will not...

We found this B&B as the result of a Google search, and spent the night of June 22 as guests. What a great place, the inn keeper Joyce treated us like visiting royalty up to and including 6 different types of delicious home made jam for breakfast and an introduction to "the old fella" a feral cat that lives, and...

This was such a beautiful place to stay. We came for a family reunion and many family members stayed in this B&B together. We would all gather for a delicious breakfast, sit out on the veranda and look at the ocean. Breath taking view. The rooms were so cozy, clean, and had names for each one. We spent lots of...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Vespers By the Sea. Joyce was a great host, very welcoming. The house was amazing, like stepping back in time. One morning we woke to a thick fog coming from the Atlantic, priceless. The view is jaw-dropping at sunset. The rooms were clean, comfortable and charming.

Great rooms with comfortable firm beds and an extremely well decorated interior. The house has been well renovated and maintained and as well as 360 degree wonderful outdoor decks to enjoy the sea views, the interior is photography worthy in itself with its polished wood and antique themed decor. Our wedding group stayed here and it was well worth it....

This huge B&B, a former convent, is charming and beautiful, with great view of the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, although I did miss having a TV in our room at night. Aside from that, it was very nice. The breakfasts are wonderful, with homemade items by Joyce, including homemade jams. We did end up cutting out...

Another perfect "home away from home". Such a lovely spot overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. From our second floor balcony we enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the evening and watched the fishing boats off the coast in the morning. Very peaceful and serene. Joyce is a perfect hostess and is quick to point out areas of interest in Glace Bay. Wished...
