My wife and I recently had a one-night stay at Historic Oak Hill Inn and had a wonderful time. Doug and Don were gracious, hospitable, and knowledgeable hosts. Their home is beautiful - preserving the history of Natchez while also providing modern amenities. Between the homemade cookies, mint juleps and spectacular breakfast, our culinary wants and needs were well satisfied....

Met by Doug and Don,we knew we were in for a treat. As beautiful as the classic homes that we toured, Oak Hill did not disappoint. From the fresh baked cookies to the icy mint juleps on the front porch, we were met daily with breakfasts that met every expectation. One morning a delivery of free range eggs fresh from...

Last week I went with five friends to the Natchez Pilgrimage, and we stayed at the Historic Oak Hill Inn for two nights. We were met at the door by our hosts who took our bags to our rooms as we enjoyed cookies and iced tea. At 5:00 we relaxed on the front porch as our host served us a...

One of the many reasons to return to this charming property is the "concierge service" provided by the hosts. They have bought and elegantly furnished an antibellum property within the walkable historic district of town , surrounded by other such mansions which are open to the public twice a year for a few weeks to truly give you a view...

Six months ago, I randomly selected a B&B from the Internet when my friends and I were planning a trip to Natchez for the Spring Pilgrimage. How fortunate that it turned out to be Oak Hill, a beautiful home built in 1835 and within walking distance of downtown. From the unbelievable breakfasts to the mint juleps on the front porch,...

Last week myself and five other friends shared the Oak Hill Inn and it was an absolute delight!!! Everything - accomodations, food, host, location were top of the line. Thanks for a great vacation! One of the very best parts was the owner sharing with us the stories of the inn and the furnishings. So many were from his family...

My wife and I made the trip to Vicksburg and Natchez the first weekend in March to brush up on our southern history and we got a large dose of southern hospitality. The Historic Oak Hill Inn was an exceptional bed & breakfast. The owners were very accommodating and helpful when deciding on restaurants and houses to see during the...

We stayed at this gorgeous inn on our way to Memphis from New Orleans. We were 3 couples travelling together so we had the whole house to ourselves and our hosts made us very welcome with a mint julip on arrival. The inn was spotless with lovely antique furnishings and our host were delightful and more than helpful with suggestions...

This was a return visit to Historic Oak Hill. My husband and I stayed in the main downstairs room and it was beautiful with period furnishings and modern conveniences. The hosts welcomed us with mint juleps, homemade cookies, and a friendly helpful atmosphere. The morning breakfast was the best I have ever had followed by a wonderful historic tour of...
