The hotel and surroundings are absolutely stunning however this hotel was not for us. We found the layout slightly confusing with little direction from staff-although they were friendly. The 'English' bar was odd to say the least and very cold. Being English I have never been to a bar like it....although like England the barman was very disinterested in anything...

If you ever visit Mississippi, you have to see Natchez. Drive in from Alexandria, Louisiana and glimpse the magnificent homes on the bluffs of the mighty Mississippi River. On the recommendation of a dear friend who owns and has refurbished one of Cincinnati's finest homes, we booked a room at Dunleith Inn. Because of an event, rooms inside the mansion...

This house is most impressive and the tour is very informative. The castle restaurant behind the house is good and reasonably priced with great service and atmosphere. Be sure to eat at restaurant first and keep receipt to get a free tour of mansion!

Dunleith is by far the most impressive antebellum home in Natchez from the outside. You only get to tour the bottom floor of the home, unless you are staying on the property. But the home is beautiful inside and our tour guide was very informative!

This hotel was booked for us on our Road Trip of the South, and we were so pleased that it was. I don't think we would have found it by ourselves. Natchez is a charming town with a lot of history attached to it. Our stay at the Dunleith was such a pleasurable time. We had a room within the...

House was beautiful. The 20 minute tour was good but could have been better if 15 of those minutes weren't used as a sales pitch for the bed and breakfast. Please don't confuse Natchez Antebellum homes with Louisiana plantations. Very different.

My Daughter chose Dunleith as her wedding venue. IT was all so wonderfully done. The service, staff, catering all of it went off with out any glitches. I was so grateful for all the help they gave me. The hotel itself is wonderful. I struggled with the stairs but that would happen anywhere. I felt like I was in a...

Very disappointing” This was one of our hotels on our recent road trip. We were looking forward to staying in a southern historical house but it turned out to be very unsatisfactory. Our very nice room had a very bad smell of gas and although the hotel agreed to move us, they didn't seem all that concerned about the potential...

Most importantly, I would like to say the safety of our guest's is a top priority at Dunleith. All Courtyard and Main House rooms have working fireplaces, in the Spring they are turned off. There may have been a residual smell from this process. The gas smell was addressed and eliminated, as soon as the guest is moved. We wouldn't perform...

We couldn't stay two nights at the Devereux Shields House, so we booked a room at the Dunleith. For $240, about $50 more than Devereux Shields, we stayed in a somewhat quaint and slightly musty smelling room which was part of The Courtyard Rooms. The smell seemed to vanish after we settled in for the night and I have to...

I am sorry that your stay was unpleasant and you feel that your complaint wasn't taken care of to your satisfaction. Our first priority is to get you to a room that meets your needs, after that was done we did go back and check the room. Our maintenance department has a tool that is used for this. It looks...
