We were very pleased with our room and the quality of the staff. The room, when the windows were shut, was very quiet, or it was until the wedding party came back around 1AM. The small room had a very comfy mattress, it was very clean, and the shower had actual water pressure, a rarity these days. The staff was knowledgeable about the area, and they made a real effort to get us those little extras. Definitely would stay here again.

They do not provide breakfast, but really, those "free" hotel breakfasts are just sugar bombs. There's a Starbucks across the freeway that has breakfast sandwiches and it opens at 5AM.

I was in town to celebrate my BFF's life. I found the travelodge online and it was easy to book. I accidentally did not enter the correct dates and called right away to get them changed which the person on the the other line was super nice and helpful. I stayed in the double bed room that was clean and tidy. Like any other hotels, toiletries were available. The carpet was a bit dated. It had a small closet , desk with chair, sitting chair, and television. Pastries and coffee were available in the morning, but there were so many other places in the area to have breakfast. It had AC and Heating. The time that I went was cold and drizzly. So the heater came in handy. What I loved about the travelodge was that everything was close by like shopping and touristy spots in Marin County. Sausalito was beautiful and the Golden Gate Bridge was nearby. So much to see. The memorial for my BFF was not until 3 pm, so the tavelodge accommodated a late checkout. They do charge a $25 fee per hour if you have to stay longer than an hour over the checkout time. My only complaint is that the room did not have a refrigerator - I like to have cold water bottles on hand. Otherwise, reasonably priced and a good place to rest. I would stay here again.

I did my do diligence and read reviews when searching for a place to stay for one nig… I feel its only right to share my experience as I value your reviews. We got one of there bigger rooms with a balcony and two beds. One of the beds we couldn't use because the sheets had a disgusting foul Odor, I don't care about hair being on the bathroom floor or a arm broken off the chair, for me it's the disgusting foul odor of the sheets on one of the beds. This travel lodge has recently done a lot of updating, but the building we stayed in hasn't been updated yet. As I was checking out I shared to Jeff our experience and he apologized for what we experience, Jeff did show me one of the updated rooms and they look really nice. There's a lot of parking with local fast foods close by, McDonald In n out and a safe way market. We really needed to like this place because it's mid point on our 16-17 hour trip up north that we take every month. Only time will tell if we will ever return back to this Travellodge .

We were here for about a week in July. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our schedule in the room varied quite a bit from day to day, but the room was always cleaned while we were out. Great job there! The room had everything we needed, was very clean, and at a great price. We are coming back for five or so days in September. The only downside I can think of is that the refrigerator was set too cold and froze some juice we had on the shelf. We'll check that setting when we return there in a few days.

I love this charming place. My favorite Travelodge. It's close to the best of Marin (Sausalito, Tiburon, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, etc.), the Golden Gate Bridge and has the best price in the area.

The rooms are very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The service from the staff is very professional and outstanding. They went out of their way for me. That's hard to find these days. I felt very safe at this location.

I've learned the room really varies depending on what room type you get. Pay more, get a bigger & better room, which makes total sense. Some rooms even have jet tubs. They're currently renovating the rooms, so some have wooden floors, which feels and looks very clean. The room with two queens has a balcony with a great view.

Thank you, Travelodge Mill Valley. Can't wait to see you again.

Oh, there's great complimentary coffee and delicious muffins in the lobby in the morning. A great way to start the morning.

I checked-in late, but found my room to be wonderful. It had AC, a sanitized bathroom with a hairdryer, an extremely comfortable bed, a coffee machine, and a closet with a safe and iron. Ergo all requirements meet that I know of from working as a hotel valet through college. The staff required and wore masks and the bathroom had an official toilet sanitized seal. The internet was terrible, but I did not stay at the hotel to be on the internet. Covid-related health laws in Marin restrict the facility from proving breakfast and opening the gym, so do not expect or blame the hotel for that. Because I arrived and slept 18 hours, I recommend all to stop on by and give this place a try!

When we arrived, our room did not have the requested refrigerator, which is critical to my medical supplies, so our host switched us to another room, which met all our needs. The stairs were a bit challenging with all our luggage, but the room was perfect. It was quiet and comfortable.

The room, service, and location were good. It was unusually cold and my heater kept shutting off - burr. Also, check to make sure you get a room with a functioning door lock because calling the front desk may not get you what you need - sorry to complain.

What makes this place so great is a combination of the unique rooms, the location and the staff. I travel to the Bay Area frequently and I always stay here. Over time, I've stayed in several different rooms, many of which have high, sloped wooden and beamed ceilings with balconies facing out to the great views of Richardson Bay and the marsh. As I sit writing this, I'm watching an egret fishing in the reeds and the fog rolling in over the hills of Mill Valley. It's a lovey respite after a busy few days of business in San Francisco...which brings up the second point: this place is located about 10 miles north of the Golden Gate bridge and so is a very easy trip into San Francisco if you're here on business. But, if you're here for vacation, Muir Beach, Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpais, the Headlands, surfing at Bolinas are all a short, fun drive away and the restaurants and coffee shops of beautiful downtown Mill Valley are a 10 minute drive. And finally, the staff are incredibly friendly, actually remember me and are always willing to have a conversation. All of this adds up to a memorable, unique and relaxing experience!
