Great Place to stay, nice rooms close to town with a great staff. Fresh cooked breakfast every morning shared with other guests in a quiet setting. Staff will readily share their extensive knowledge of the entire area helping maximize vacation time.

We loved our stay here. It is more personal. Every morning we would go down to breakfast and other guests would share what they did the day before. It was great to be able to converse with other families. The owners gave us great directions to where we would be going, great suggestions for dinner and other activities. The owners...

It is a great place to stay! I would recommend it. We can't wait to stay there next year. It's in walking distance to town. The outdoor sitting area is a must! The owners are great, breakfast was always good. One morning when we step out our door there were 2 deer grazing.

Very accommodating to our "situation", on this busy holiday weekend as my family of 6 discovered upon arrival at one of the large chain hotels in Keystone our reserved rooms were sold. Thankful for the staff at Battle Creek Lodge🙏🏻All employees made it priority to find space for us, such kind, kind souls made us feel welcomed in a stressful...

We are so happy that we were able to accomidate you and your family! One of the best things about this job is when we can take a tense or stressful situation (such as traveling with your family can be) and take some of the stress away so our guests can just enjoy their time in the Black Hills. Battle Creek Lodge is a small gem in Keystone. A perfect location for all your sightseeing, and a great place to return to when you are ready to relax. Tammy and Cine work very hard to maintain the homey atmosphere that makes this place so special. Beds were so comfy with high quality soft sheets and blankets. Plenty of hot...

This lodge is the perfect location for touring around the keystone area, it is close to Mt Rushmore, the restaurants, and downtown. It is quiet, very clean, and the rates are reasonable. This was by far the best place to stay if you are visiting the Black Hills, it was like staying at a friends home, everything from the room to the lobby was nice cozy at home feeling. The rooms were extremely clean, plenty of hot water and water pressure was amazing. The rooms were nice and quiet, and the beds...

This place would not be five star on some scales. On ours, however, it rates five plus. We wanted a place near Mt Rushmore so location is perfect. Made it very easy to go during the day and then return at night for the lighting ceremony. The rooms are adequate in size. Ours had two very comfortable beds. A good...
