We travelled here in June 2016. This campsite is close to Mt. Rushmore (about 5 miles). It was primitive camping no electricity on our tent site. They had showers and restrooms. It was a nice place to camp & pitch a tent. The swimming pool was nice and clean and I think the deepest part was 5'. The other campers...

on first glance the cabins looked new, we made our way up the steep hill to # 14, went in and looked great, spacious one room, open concept feeling, new appliances, nice bed, went to take a shower and the shower head was very poor, plus the water dripped all night long, there were also light bulbs in bathroom burnt...

This was our first big family vacation and it was WONDERFUL! We have 3 young boys so this cabin was perfect to allow them room to run and us a place to relax. The campsite is very nicely located but also far enough from major roads that you felt secluded. Our 3 young boys loved the downtime to explore. There...

This was our third stay at Kemp's Kamp. We have always stayed in a cabin on the hill because we need space for all of our gear. Nice surprise to find the gravel road to the cabins has been finished with tar! Check in is a breeze..as is check out. Cabins are meticulously maintained! The two bedroom cabin has full...

We stayed 6 nights and had a wonderful time. Easy to get to, yet away from the hustle. Quiet every night, with great star visibility. Showers were clean, campgrounds were clean and well maintained. Staff was all over upkeep and very nice. It would have been perfect, IF they could have prevented the hail!! I'd give them 10 stars on...

We could not have asked for a better vacation spot. Clean, friendly, great location. We took lots of day trip from our cabin. The people that run it are very helpful and friendly. We will be back and we have already told plenty of others about Kemp's Kabin.

My husband and I spent one night here and were very comfortable. The best spot for small RV's would be below the tent camping area. The other RV site is very tight- RV's very close together. We had a nice grassy spot below tent camping on the creek with a full hookup. The bathrooms were very clean - showers were...

My family spent three nights camping on soft grassy site with shelter over picnic table. The kids loved the pool. Location is central to Black Hills and near towns of Keystone and Hill City. Campers were quiet and no problem with road; little traffic.
