We very much enjoyed the personal, family touch. The facilities were top notch and well maintained. Great location just outside the park. When we had an issue with the hookup, they helped us in the pouring rain to find the issue.

A Fall getaway for my birthday. The cabin (the Maple) we stayed in was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. There was wood provided for the woodstove. The woodstove made the cabin so cozy! The bathroom was warm and comfortable. Full size shower and toilet area. This was definitely an "unplugged" weekend. No TV's, no phones. We did have...

I visited the Mt. Ranier National Park with my family in October 2016. We drove up from Portland Oregon to take a children's train ride on the Great Pumpkin Patch Express train operated by Mt. Rainier Railroad. We found a wonderful cozy place to stay at The Mounthaven Resort in Ashford, Washington. Rustic cabins nicely equipped with modern appliances and...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon and it was lovely. Clean as a whistle, the Spruce cabin was perfect for two. The bed was comfy, the kitchenette was a good size for a short stay and it was less than 5 minutes from the Longmire entrance to Mt Rainier National Park. My only advice...

Family trip with our daughter and her family. Our cabin was clean and quiet. Beautiful setting and near Rainier Park entrance. Area also included space for RVs. Free wifi was an added bonus. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking needs. Camp fires had wood ready.

This serene, magical place was like a fantasy world for us. We actually stayed in the cabin that is the main picture for the resort. When we got there, the cabin was warm and inviting, with wood stacked in the fireplace ready to go. Another bundle was waiting on the porch for us as well. The cabin was clean, as...

A hidden jewel! Beautiful wooded area, on site owners, immaculate bathroom/shower/laundry (one machine and dryer) They also rent rustic cabins for rent. A doe and her fawn visit in the mornings looking for a hand out (don't feed them!) Our site had shade from massive old trees. Good spacing between sites. You can still hear the road noise but the...

What a wonderful hidden treasure. Situated in the mature pines of the forest only a mile from Mt Rainer entrance. The sites were ample in size, most had fire rings and tables. Power was limited to 30 amps but there is no need for AC. The staff was very helpful and friendly, laundry/showers clean and neat. This is a great...

This place is amazing. The cabins are cute, cozy, and clean. The cabin we stayed in was newly refinished, very well done. The owners are very approachable and helped us with anything we needed and any questions that we had. Definitely would stay here again if we get the chance to return.

We chose Mounthaven based on its close proximity to the park entrance, very convenient and easy access. Some RV sites are very tight, it would have been nice to be able to guarantee our spots with the two other families traveling with us, reservations were made several months prior to the trip It took some convincing for Zandy to allow...
