I booked two rooms, one for myself and my fiancee and one for my mother in law and her partner. Her partner couldn't make it so the lady at the desk offered her a room swap (8) for something better (25) , the staff were so friendly. Our room a sea view on the first floor (12) had stunning views...

This guest house was a really old building, room was small but very clean and cosy, only let down was there was no where to put things only 2 very small bedside cabinets and one of them had tea and coffee facilities on it, suggest a shelf or small cabinet would be a bonus, breakfast was very very good and...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Sandcliff. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay and breakfast, we do agree that some rooms are not as spacious as others, and we do though describe these accurately on our website. Please do ring us direct next time and we will guide you to your ideal room. We...

Good value stay. Rooms are a little dated but spotlessly clean. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and happy to accommodate our straying from hot menu slightly. Room was large and well equiped although when we used our glasses they were taken out and not replaced. No biggie though we used the cups! Room controlled heating, great for me, I like...

My husband and I stayed here in June , we had the room nearest to the reception desk. The room was a bit small for a double but clean and comfortable . We had a nice time . It was a short walk to town and the Pier .

Myself and my partner stayed for one night. With 3 grown up children still living at home, we wanted to get away for some peace and quiet. We stayed in Room 20, which has a lovely big bay window and fantastic views. We went for a walk into town, had a meal overlooking Cromer Pier, and got back to our...

We stayed in the upper floor guest room, for three, which was well equipped with a double, and single bed, small en suite, and a TV in a desk facing the sea. The Sandcliff is about as close to the beach as you can get, just a walk across the road gives you access to either walk along the top...

I am reviewing on behalf of my mother, who stayed last night and doesn't do technology herself: Booked for one night to break a journey, prior to going to a holiday cottage today. I did read the less than favourable reviews but felt for one night, I could cope and it was in the area I wanted to stay. I...

We only booked that morning to stay for one night only - through booking.com - and arrived about 2.00pm. We were met with a very friendly welcome and our room was ready. The room was spacious, comfortable and more than adequate for one night. The bed was comfortable although slightly smaller than we prefer. The breakfast in the morning was...

Dear Nunky1 Thank you very much for leaving us a review. I am sorry that you felt that the Sandcliff was of poor value, we do offer saver rates this month for as little as £49. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights recently in triple room 12 on the first floor with 3 big windows overlooking the sea. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. We paid for a breakfast every morning and it was perfect. Cereals, fresh fruit, full english cooked to order, tea and toast. All the staff were very friendly...
