A bitter-cold end-of-March week, and a quick birdwatching break in Norfolk was beckoning from Devon...a cheap flight from Exeter to Norwich, and then, as a bonus, the very best of British B & B as my home for the week. Albury House in Cromer. It couldn't have been bettered. Geographically, Cromer is a perfect base for exploring the bird-rich north...

For starters it's the best looking B&B in the road and that continues when you get inside with some really nice features, our 2 rooms were clean and well appointed, the owners are very friendly & helpful, the food was exceptionally nice, cooked to order and plentiful. I would highly recommend this B&B and it's very reasonably priced too.

Would highly recommend. Lovely hosts - made us feel very welcome. Beautiful clean and spacious room. The breakfast was very generous and everything cooked fresh to order. Also very close to the sea and Cromer centre. We were also able to park close to the accommodation.

Our room was small, but clean. The shower room was very small, hardly able to turn around! Parking could be a problem in the busier times. Not much choice for breakfast if you prefer not to have a full English!

We stayed over at Albury House B&B whilst on our recent week's holiday in Cromer and it was excellent. Victoria is an excellent hostess and our room was lovely with a slight sea view. The B&B is very clean and modern and guests are provided with a superb and filling breakfast each morning. We would recommend that guests are provided...

Echo all the top reports from other contributors. There is a car park at the bottom of Alfred Road, £5 per day, £2.50 overnight. There are steps to the beach over the road, from the promenade. First time my Swedish partner had stayed in a traditional English B & B, she loved it. Particularly the lovely, full English breakfasts.
