We booked Los Sibileys for 2 days for our anniversary, having read the great reviews about it and knowing we would have a wonderful anniversary dinner and we were not wrong!! Its a beautiful home in the middle of nowhere with great views and walks and Steve and Debbie are great hosts and above all great chefs.......we had a superb dinner, had our first swim of the year the next day in their pool and had a thoroughly relaxing time for the two days,, taking in a tour of the nearby towns of Velez-Blanco and its lovely 16c Renaissance castle, and Velez Rubio on day 2. and a lovely walk on our last morning before we left with a map which Debbie drew for us, they are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble, thanks so much to you both for making our anniversary so memorable.
A group of 6 of us who live locally went down for the Taster Menu yesterday evening. We were all surprised and delighted by the consistent high quality of the food and it's presentation. This is top notch quality food in a very ambient dining room with terrace adjacent to enjoy the lovely views. Steve and Debbie are not only very accomplished chefs but very welcoming hosts. Thank you for a great evening.
I looked into a few motorcycle tours and settled on this one.And I'm glad i did. I came from California and only have a couple years riding dirt bikes. First of all I do not hold a motorcycle license, as in California you do not need one as long as you are not on the roads, and my limited amount of riding has been on dirt. I couldn't find any other companies that would let me ride trails without a license. A couple places said they would let me ride on a privately owned track but I wanted to get out on the trails. I talked to Steve at Solmoto, explained my experience and situation and he let me ride. There were no other riders the two days I was there so it was just me and Steve. I expected that he would keep me to the wide truck trails and the safe flat areas as I am still kind of new to trail riding but wanting to improve my skills.Steve was awesome. Within the first hour he knew my limits and my potential better than I did. He challenged me with technical sections that I wasn't sure I could do, but he had confidence in me and he talked me through them. The trails in his area offer everything from flat out fast and straight desert terrain to steep, technical, and rocky forested areas. It was an amazing trip and i am a better rider because of Steve's help. The accommodations are also top notch. Rooms are clean and large Debbie and Steve are super accommodating, the hot tub was always ready. Steve is also a talented classically trained french chef. The food was incredible. …
This British ex restaurateur couple own and run a beautiful quiet hassienda out in the country side, with a welcoming pool. Did I mention the gourmet dinner?! A few km's off the beaten track but that's why you came and so worth it. We arrived in a low slung convertible Porsche, so no problem at all. They run professional off road motorcycle tours too. We actually stayed in ~July 2017, and have been tardy to review earlier. Book it, stay a couple of days, and relax. Beautiful. And thank them from us.
Booked as a short trip with 5 friends for off-road motorcycle hire with a mixed-ability group, with guiding, accommodation and dinner. We're used to good facilities when skiing ... this was excellent and friendly, family run. Choice of KTM bikes in good condition was a good start, good variety of trails led by young Ben, with tasty lunch stops, finishing relaxing by pool, bar and finally 5* dinner selection by former Chef Steve . We'll be back.
