We stayed in a renovated part of the hotel. Our room faced the road and we could hear and feel the traffic, including large trucks, accelerating and shifting as they roared past. We had a one foot deep deck (why did they bother?), but we couldn't keep the door open because of noise. The room had no tables, shelves, hooks or any type of space to put anything down on. We ended up moving a bunch of stuff the hotel had put on top of the mini fridge, and using that to put our sunglasses and wallets on. The bathroom had no door, which felt odd to me, especially since the room we stayed in was a four person room. The shower had no door either, so it was cold. When you got out of the shower, there was no place to put your towel. We just had piles of things all over the floor.…

The room was with elegant rustic decoration, with all facilities and amenities. The rooms were quiet and well isolated with radiant floor heating. The breackfast was awesome and abundant. We also used the restaurant and the food was tasty, well cooked and with a menu well addapted to the land. Highly recommendable.

We stayed here during a really busy weekend in September and adored the hotel. Such a lovely place, beautiful décor, welcoming atmosphere and to top it all off, an Owner who was so kind and caring always making sure his guests were happy. Breakfast was delicious too as well as the drinks at the bar...

My wife and I enjoyed four nights in Begur and had a wonderfully quiet time. Our hosts, Miquel and his family, were simply wonderful.. Any questions that we had were graciously answered and we ended up exploring more of the area than we had planned as a result. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and items were added and changed every day. The restaurant was not to be missed. The hotel itself was much more impressive than the photos suggested. I had to tell Miguel that the photos online did not show how impressive his hotel really was. Throughout our stay, it felt that we were honoured guests in Miquel's house than paying guests in a hotel. Next time we are in Begur, I know where we will stay.

We stayed at this hotel for one night bringing our young dog. Manuel, Georgina and the team couldn’t be more helpful and were very welcoming to us and our dog. We had a room with a terrace, the quality of the accommodation was very good and breakfast for 9 euros was reasonable too. We ate in the restaurant with friends which wasn’t cheap for what we had but was enjoyable.

We stopped in for a one night stay only, and were very pleased with our room in the addition. The decor is minimalist but very tasteful, and the en-suite was well designed. It was spotless. The balcony provided a nice spot to read the Sunday Times. Miguel, the owner, patiently provided advice for a walk into town as well as sites in the surrounds. Dinner was excellent. We didn’t see a salad on the menu but one was provided when we asked. Our main course of lamb chops and dessert were equally good. Breakfast was nicely laid out with both hot and cold options and we found it lacked nothing! Service was of similar quality. Just too bad we couldn’t have stayed longer! Thankyou!

The perfect place to stay for us in Begur, The food, especially the breakfast buffet was wonderful. Every meal we had was delicious, its a very short walk to begur, but just far enough away for a bit more privacy. Lovely mountain view from the dining area porch, If you are in begur for a wedding or gathering, this location has lots of room for friends to gather, in the restaurant or downstairs in rooms with lots of couches. Miguel is the consummate host, our trip would not have been the same without his guidance,

This was our second stay at the hotel, so we knew what to expect, and we were not let down. We chose the “Mountain View” room, on the second floor of the new part of the hotel. The room was large, with a balcony overlooking the adjacent area, and a well equipped shower room. One problem with this is that the toilet door is transparent, and the bathroom has no door fitted, so those of a sensitive nature could be caused embarrassment when taking a call of nature! Breakfast was good, with a wide choice of cold & hot dishes, coffee from a commercial Nespresso machine, and places both in the restaurant or on the terrace, weather permitting, of course. The hotel is well situated, a 10 minute walk into the centre of town, but in a quiet residential area, with free parking. The…

What a lovely little spot! Our room was pretty basic but clean and large enough with a nice terrace. Our welcome was fantastic and everything was explained to us as it had been a few years since we had been to Begur. Service was great whilst we were there and were willing to help with any questions we had. Breakfast was plentiful and nice fresh options to choose from. The terrace where we ate each morning was a lovely way to start the day. A slight walk out of town but not to far and whilst the festival is on at least you get a good nights sleep!:)

The hotel is in a lovely old stone building, just a 10 minute walk from the old centre of Begur. We had a lovely superior room with a terrace which was nice for enjoying a wine or two in the evening. Conveniently, there is a supermarket very nearby the hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well. The owner of the hotel is very, very friendly, and will be glad to recommend beaches/sightseeing in the area. A trip to Pals (10 minutes by car) is a must. We felt that the hotel fell down in a couple of areas, hence giving a rating of 4 instead of 5. Firstly, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room - it would have been great to enjoy a cuppa on the terrace first thing in the morning. Secondly, the hotel has one iron to share amongst all…
