This is a romantic hotel in a quiet town, Begur. They decorated it with heart and much care of the clients. Best breakfast i had during my trip in Catalonia. I would like to thank Aiguaclara for the best wishes on my honeymoon. All the best. I would highly recommend this hotel to you if you decide to travel to...

Having been lucky enough to stay in some excellent hotels in the past (for a lot more money!) this place must be right up there. Our laid back hosts were brilliant and couldn't be more helpful during our stay offering plenty of good advice regarding restaurants and places to visit. They also have amazing taste in terms of the decor...

We spent eight days in Catalonia, staying in four hotels, the best of which was unquestionably Hotel Aiguaclara. From the moment we arrived we were quietly pampered by Joan and Clara who really do treat their guests as if they were family friends. The hotel itself is a charming 19th century town house with airy, high-ceilinged rooms and views of...

After a few exhausting months planning our wedding and house renovations, we felt we deserved a little mini break. We came to the hotel with the view to do absolutely nothing, just to enjoy the place and scenery. Clara and Joan were absolutely brilliant, very lovely and warm people. They welcomed us in their beautiful colonial hotel, which feels more...

We chose this hotel and this town because of the great reviews on Tripadvisor - and were really pleased we did! Joan and Clara are most welcoming, helpful and informative but without being over-bearing. The hotel itself is just lovely - especially the chill out lounge and garden downstairs, what better to come back after a day exploring or a...

This hotel was a wonderful find from the Alistair Sawday website. It has a very central location in Begur, near lots of bars and restaurants (although some of them were shut as the season is only just beginning). Our room was wonderful, smart, stylish yet comfortable with a brilliant shower. The beaches are a short drive away (go to Aiguabrava...

We booked this hotel in Begur following the positive reviews it had on tripadvisor website. We weren't disappointed. It is an old traditional Catalan building, lovingly converted to a 10bedroom hotel by it's owners, Clara and Joan. There is therefore no lift or double glazing but apart from these minor problems (for us) it was totally perfect. The main thing...
