I had a wonderful stay recently at the University Inn. The redecorated room was very spacious and comfortable. The Inn is in a great location, and its hospitality is welcoming. The reception area is inviting, the breakfast granola and coffee were delicious, and the happy hour is great way to relax and meet interesting people. This Inn is a special...

This is a old, and privately owned, motel across from the Emory campus. We stayed in rooms with full kitchens because we were in town for a week, so this was very helpful in cutting down on expenses of eating out. It has wifi - but not very stable. It has a tiny pool, but did not use because it...

Thank you for your kind review. We are a family owned Inn that has served Emory University, Emory Hospital and the historic Druid Hills community since 1971. Next time you stay with us, please ask for our renovated rooms if a microwave and refrigerator are sufficient. We look forward to serving you again next time you visit Atlanta.

I am replying on behalf of my guest that described their experience at the Emory Inn. I reserved and booked a room for two nights for out of town residents that were visiting their child at Egleston's Children Hospital. Originally I booked a room at Holiday Inn, but unfortunately they were booked up so Emory Inn was the next closest...

We would like to address these issues with the guest directly. We would not knowingly put anything with blood on it in a room. We have not been able to attain contact information for the guest directly, therefore, have not been able to reconcile these issues. The room was thoroughly double checked and cleaned after their departure.

I have been staying at the University Inn over the past four years while my son has been a student at Emory University, from the time we first brought him to school as a freshman. Each stay has been a wonderful one. The setting is lovely and the renovated rooms are a big plus. The staff are friendly and hospitable....

I recently stayed at the Inn for a business trip. Negatives:I was looking forward to the pool, which was closed for "cleaning" the whole time we were there, 1st room I was given was very old and had numerous stains on the furniture and carpet - felt icky just standing in the middle of the room. The bathroom fixtures were...

We regret that your experience was not what you had hoped for. Our outdoor pool is open May 1 through October 1 and therefore not open during your dates of stay. Regarding the state of the rooms, you were in one of 5 rooms that have not yet been renovated and unfortunately we were sold out of the renovated rooms...

We chose to stay at this smaller hotel instead of staying in a Midtown hotel for a wedding. Best decision ever! It's quaint and quite clean. The rooms are very spacious. Parking is convenient and free. The beds were comfortable and there was a small refrigerator and microwave which is a plus for us. Two small issues that were disappointing:...

Found heaven at the Inn when tragedy in my family was the worst in my life at 70. The loving of Inn staff was tremendous. After 2 months at the Inn and still here they are still showing me love and support. I will not trade the most elite hotel in the world and I have travelled the world. This...

We stayed here to visit our granddaughter at Emory University. It is so convenient to the University literally across the road. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but our room was great. It was very large and seemed to have been recently renovated. I think it was room 225. The continental breakfast was limited but fine with good...

This weekend, I stayed here for two nights. The positive: the rooms were absolutely gorgeous! The beds were comfortable and the heated lamp in the bathroom was definitely a plus! Also, downtown was 15 minutes away so the location was perfect! The negative: I had specifically asked for a first floor room because I'm pregnant but inconveniently ended up on...

We greatly regret when our guest's issues are not addressed satisfactorily. We appreciate all reviews and strive to address all issues. It is our policy that if a guest calls one time to complain about noise that we address that with those making the noise which we did. If a 2nd complaint is made we call the police to manage...

I booked one of the "renovated rooms" for my stay here last week and found the room to be modern and comfortable. Despite its high profile neighborhood, the University Inn is quite unpretentious and seems to be a welcome retreat. I had a friend in at the hospital, which was the main purpose of my visit. Upon my arrival, I...
