I am generally not the type of person to write about tranquility at a hotel, but I will this time! Very picturesque, quite. Perfect for reading or thinking or both! Even the elevator floors have flagstone! Staff is very attentive. Only downer was my bed was a little to hard for my liking.

We came into town to visit Emory University and were pleased to find a close hotel for our short stay. It was in a pretty setting, and had an overall mission style with attractive character. We ordered room service and were impressed by the food choices as well as quality. The service throughout the hotel was also good. However, we...

This property is a pleasant surprise --- a respite from the development and hustle of Clifton Road, the CDC, Emory University. It is set off the road in a forest, with beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright style. The rooms are nice. The older ones are being renovated, the meeting space is awesome. The restaurant is fine. The staff are very pleasant....

When in Atlanta this is the only hotel I stay at. It is not by the Atlanta airport or downtown, but is conveniently located to everything. The hotel is clean, the staff is welcoming and there are stores and restaurants in walking distance. Right next to Emory University so great walking paths available.

I was in Decatur for a concert at Eddie's Attic. I wanted someplace close so I would not have to drive too far in the Atlanta traffic. There are not a lot of choices in Decatur. This hotel was a nice surprise. It was very nice, clean, and safe. I would definitely stay there again.

For comfort and congeniality, this hotel ranks close to the top of the upscale hotels at which I've stayed on business. Its location on the Emory University campus, at the edge of the woods is a plus. I happened to have business at the Centers for Disease Control, practically across the street, another plus. I relished the warmth and comfort...

My favorite hotel in Atlanta!! A relaxing oasis in the city -- lovely common areas with a lodge feel, beautiful and comfortable rooms, and excellent service. A delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and late-night fun playing pool in the lobby!

The hotel is very convenient if you are visiting Emory University or the CDC. The hotel's exterior is quite lovely, but the interior could use a little more personality. The lobby is very nice, but not fantastic. Our room was very generic, but very clean. The concierge staff was extremely helpful. They helped me out several times by answering all...

This is a beautifully designed craftsman style hotel that is quite a retreat in a busy city like ATL and convenient to Emory and the CDC. As there was no conference when I stayed, it was very quiet and felt like a secluded hotel in the mountains. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. From the server in the bar...

This hotel is a hidden gem. If I were not attending an event on Emory's campus, I would not have known about it. Now, I will look forward to staying there anytime I'm in Atlanta. The decor was great, good was excellent in the hotel and the local restaurant and service was superb.
