I was a bit nervous about staying at an inn that takes dogs, even though I was the one who needed it.:) The minute I walked through the door my nervousness disappeared. The staff (Jess):) was extremely kind, happy and helpful. The suite was dog friendly, spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was 5 star and the common areas are beautiful....

After staying at the Woodstock Inn for more than 20 years, we found that it has turned into a large resort hotel like many hotel chains, no longer met our expectations, and is a poor value what is provided. It was time for a change. We combined our knowledge of of the town with info on Trip Advisor and selected...

We managed to time this trip just right! Even though it was sizzling hot in Woodstock, it was better than being in the city, we had a private pool and a cast of characters randomly swinging by. We were lucky enough to be the only guests during our visit, allowing us free reign of the property. All in all we...

This is a very nice B&B. The best part about it are the people who are running it. They are not your typical B&B owners. They are young, energetic people with a wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics. We have not found a more enjoyable set of owners of a B&B in our experience. The facility was beautiful...

We spent a wonderful weekend at The Blue Horse Inn during Woodstock's Wassail Festival. The Inn was a lovely backdrop to a magical experience. We cannot say enough about the most gracious Innkeepers and our room, with a working fireplace, was such a treat. The breakfasts were scrumptious and the icing on the cake was that they are truly pet...

The rooms were absolutely beautiful, each one having its own character and ambiance. Refreshments awaited us when we checked in and happy hour followed shortly in the evening. Wine, crackers, cheese, walnuts, chocolates... couldn't have asked for more! Our walk-in closet contained two lovely robes and two pairs of comfy bedroom slippers (not to mention the obvious amenities such as...

We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Horse Inn and could not have asked for more of a bed and breakfast. The grounds are immaculate with a large stretch of lawn rolling down to a clay tennis court and idyllic poolside setting replete with modern white chaise longues. This is the perfect spot to lie back, relax, enjoy a...

Upon entering the Blue Horse Inn, your senses are pleasantly welcomed.  From the high ceilings above, the grand piano to the left, and the beautifully curved staircase as a center greeting, the environment encourages you to reside at such a warm arcitectural serenity.  The sounds are that of relaxation; quiet and subdued.  The energy and spirit of the house is...

My new husband and I traveled to Woodstock, VT on one stop of our relaxing honeymoon. The Blue Horse Inn was by far the most amazing portion of our stay in Vermont. The magnificent rooms were artfully renovated and decorated with every attention-to-detail. We stayed in a suite, which was incredibly economical and felt as though we had our own...

This was our first trip to Vt. and we were so fortunate to have found the Blue Horse Inn. The B&B was located in the heart of Woodstock and the house was stunning. We stayed in room #3 which had an oversize king bed with three windows overlooking the backyard and a large bathroom with oversized + stand up shower....
