We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by the lovely lady on reception. Our room wasn't quite ready but we were taken into the restaurant area and given complimentary tea, which was a nice surprise. After about 10 minutes were were allocated a room. The room was bright and clean, large bed and great size bathroom, we had no...

The Sunflower is a mid range well cared for hotel in a residential area not far from Bugibba centre or via footpath to the main bus routes, X3 to the airport or 45 to Valletta, both of which cost E1.50 and take around an hour. My room was very clean and in good order and the heating was welcome on...

I visited with my partner in January 2017 during an unseasonably cold spell. I would say the hotel is reasonable, it was a little dated in places and the room lacked a kettle and suitable heating, I also didn't like the location of the hotel. However the staff were friendly and welcoming and the price fantastic.

I was there from 31/12/2016 to 7/1/2017 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel didn't have a sea view unless you were at the lovely rooftop pool, but that didn't bother me, the room was very clean and was cleaned daily. The room 416 was large and airy, the bed was clean and comfortable what more could I ask for....

The staff was very friendly, the room was cute, I liked the wooden furniture and it was very clean. The location is good, it is very near to the bus station, there is also parking if you rent a car. Except breakfast was nothing special, very average.

Having looked at Tripadvisor before making my booking I did not expect nor get any major surprises. We went to enjoy Christmas. The hotel staff were delightful and as helpful as they could be, no complaints there only praise. The rooms were as I expected very basic. No fridge, no kettle and just a single 3 pin square socket and...

Centrally located for Bugibba/Qwara. 10 minutes walk to bus station. Hotel very clean. Bedroom slightly dated but adequate for our stay. Stayed for 4 nights from December 26th with my husband on bed and breakfast basis. I booked standard room which did not include tea/coffee making facilities so I took my own travel kettle, tea bags and sachets of milk....

Stayed here in November for 5 nights in a superior room. It was very spacious and bed was comfortable, shower was always hot and very powerful. I requested a kettle in my room and this was in the room when I arrived. The food was basic but always something really nice and always hot, can't fault it and the coffee...

This is the third time we have used this hotel and the very high standards are still being maintained. It was nice to be recognized as a returning guest. But they go out of their way to make all welcome. The location is quiet but not too far from the centers of activity. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate,...

The 3-star Sunflower Hotel is located in Qawra, within the resort of St. Paul's Bay, in the north of Malta. It is just 800 meters away from its sister hotel, the 4-star Hotel Santana, and only a ten minute walk away from the picturesque 2.5 km promenade, a small man made sandy beach, various rocky beaches, public transport, shops, bars, restaurants, a Casino, a multiplex cinema, the national aquarium and various other recreational facilities. Despite its modern exterior, the hotel's interior design reflects traditional Maltese architectural characteristics through the use of Maltese limestone. The Sunflower Hotel is tastefully designed and offers most of the facilities found in a 4-star hotel. The resort of St. Paul's Bay is made up of Qawra, Bugibba and the village of St. Paul's Bay. The resort is linked through a 2.5km promenade which affords it with stunning coastal walks and plenty of small bays in which one can swim. The resort has numerous restaurants, cafés, bars and shops. In Qawra one also finds a casino, the national aquarium, a man made sandy beach and a bus station offering regular bus service to all parts of the Maltese islands. Hotel facilities include a 24 hour reception, buffet restaurant and outdoor terrace, 24 hour bar, an attractively designed roof top pool (May to October) and sunbathing terrace, both enjoying open sea and country views, a swim-up pool bar (May to October), an indoor pool which is heated in winter, a treatments/massage room and also a games room.
