I stayed at this property for two nights on 10/11/2024 and 10/12/2024. I usually do not stay at Hyatt branded properties; however, I was very pleasantly surprised.

The hotel lobby is nice, the complimentary breakfast is more than sufficient and the front desk staff were very friendly.

Parking is $10 per night at this property, which seems to be normal for this area.

The room was very nice. I had a standard King room. There is a large sectional sofa with plenty of room in the living area, partially separated from the bedroom with a nice refrigerator and desk. The Television sits between the two rooms. The bed is very comfortable and the climate control worked well. The sink is outside of the room with the shower and toilet. The shower had good pressure. The only minor inconvenience is that the room with the shower and toilet is very, very tiny. So tiny, in fact, that the door does not open the whole way.

You can tell slightly that this is an older property; however, what I love about this place is that they keep it well maintained and in great condition.

I would most definitely return to this Hyatt property again in the future.

I had originally booked my room for December 7, 2021, however some things change your mind and in the date got pushed back to December 10, 2021. I spoke with the lady at the front desk that day and she assured me that there would be no problem and she just changed my check in dates to the 10th.
However after three flights, I arrive to the hotel Sometime in the evening I don’t know perhaps seven or eight. And find out my reservation has been canceled or I don’t know what happened I called my contacts on my end and they had assured me that they were not the ones responsible for the cancellation. So as I was speaking to the lady at the front desk she was not aware of who canceled it but all she knows that someone did. They were no other rooms available and I was miles away from home and I was stranded and had no where to stay. Luckily for my subordinates were already arrived as planned on the 8th. I asked to speak with the manager, the manager wasn’t present she said that the manager doesn’t work on weekend. I just didn’t understand how a $5000 reservation was canceled and no one knew how or why. And none of the rest of my teams were canceled. The manager did nothing in situation to help me all I did was staying with one of my companions and received a room 1or 2 days later….. so my beginning experience was not the best. However as the days went on Are we going to enjoy the front desk staff they were a big help daily, when needed. My only comment was that I noticed how they treated all of the airlines (high-end clients) no matter what time it was, it was always great energy, accommodation… it would be to keep that with everyone and it will take you far.
•The Male Cook Has a very dissed tasteful disrespectful attitude and has been reported in spoken to many times by supervisors, However nothings been done about it. Because he keeps on giving like he does it multiple times with multiple people speak to other customers any type of way.
• There was a few times before the Covid rule and regulation the housekeeping staff did not clean the rooms as requested in the mornings it happened multiple days with multiple rooms and the housekeeping manager had to come in and clean the rooms, I’m assuming she gave you order it and nobody listen to her.
• One of my rooms was infested with ants one day I came in I think it was a cup on the side of the bed and it was some Gatorade and the ants were Crawling everywhere. I don’t think me or my team has ever met one manager.

I was very disappointed with my stay, specifically the rooms.

We stayed at this Hyatt for our 1st anniversary and thought it would be nice to reenacted the evening.

The first room (713) had ants all over the lounging area of the room. We were told we could get another room, but we were short on time and had to leave for dinner reservations. Upon return, a bunch of ants were on our items and luggage. They were so bad we had to take 10 mins to get them off before going to next room.

Guest services was great assisting with another room (715). It turned out to be worst. The ants were in the bathroom on the counters and in the refrigerator. (Have pictures) All the food in frig and counter was thrown away

We didn’t feel comfortable lounging in room or constantly getting ants off us. My wife only stayed on the bed the whole night, that sucked!

This needs to be taken care of.

My family and I stayed here one night before an early morning flight to Disney. Wish I would have stayed somewhere else and paid for parking at the Park and Go lot instead. The guy checking us in had no idea what he was doing. He never took my car information and didn't seem to know I had actually paid to keep my car there for 7 days. I had to call back just to make sure they didn't tow my car. The shuttle service was good, but with limited seating on the van, you could be waiting a while if there are more people needing the service. The van services multiple hotels but thankfully there wasn't many people needing a ride when we left and returned.
I can't speak to the breakfast or any of the other services because we arrived at 6pm and left a little after 4am. The room was subpar with the coffee maker plug not working so I had to move the coffee maker to the table. The bathroom was a little small and the vent had so much lent/dust built up inside. It seemed like housekeeping had vacuumed the vent in a year. The room was a decent size but did feel a little worn, with the bed frame having rips in the fabric.
Overall it wasn't a bad hotel, but for the price it doesn't seem worth it. Probably could have stayed at the Best Western and got the same experience without the price tag.

Hotel was in the perfect location for our business meeting, just 8 minutes away. The receptionists were quick and courteous, which was greatly appreciated -- we only had 30 minutes to get from the meeting to the hotel, check in, freshen up, and head to our dinner meeting.

The room was nice and clean, with excellent temperature control. My colleague and I had to share the room, but it was super spacious and easy for us both to find places to leave our bags for easy access. The toilet was spotless and the shower was strong and hot, which was key after such a long day. The room was also equipped with a large refrigerator, coffee maker and supplies, a hairdryer, and a large flat screen TV - we couldn't have asked for too much more.

I stayed at the Richmond Airport Hyatt on a last minute trip for a funeral. I had adult my son with me. We had a room with two queen beds. I was warmly and professionally greeted at check in by Steve, and also had excellent experiences with Brittany at the front desk the next day. The room was spacious and clean, we also enjoyed the pool, breakfast was included and was much better that the usual "free breakfast included". Complimentary coffee and tea is available 24 hours. Air conditioning in the room worked well, it was quiet, beds and pillows were comfortable, not a long wait for the elevator -all the little things that add up to a very pleasant experience. I really cannot say one negative thing about my stay. It was a pleasure.

This is probably the worst Hyatt Place I’ve ever stayed in. One baggage cart, one elevator working, hot water very slow coming and tepid at best. Bathtub is unsafe. The shape is very U and I had a bad fall because if it. Breakfast was good but coffee service was limited to the hotel only having one coffee maker working. Airport shuttle stops at seven hotels so be prepared to wait and ride a long time to go a short distance. Furniture and carpet are in their last legs. Outlets in room are scarce which made connecting two CPAP very difficult.

Overall experience was okay. Too thin walls, you can hear pretty much everthing from next room. They use styrofoam plates and plastic utensils for breakfast which is not acceptable from such a big chain of hotel who promotes green nature & sustainability.

I have never stayed at this hotel before, but so glad that I did. This establishment is within walking distance to numerous restaurants and stores, perfect for the travelers who do not have a rental car. The staff were all friendly, especially front desk and the transportation service guys. Also, the bathroom products smelled delicious and we will definitely stay here again. Unlimited bacon on the breakfast buffet was much appreciated from this carnivore too! Great experience overall and economical.

After reading some of the negative reviews I nearly changed my reservation to the Westin, but I had enough Hyatt points for two free nights- so I decided it was going to be ok no matter what. I’m glad we stayed here because it was a very comfortable and good experience. With a free room you expect a bottom of the barrel room in a lame location, but we got a corner room on a high floor which was great. The bed was comfy, the space was large, and our neighbors were quiet! The only issue that came up was that a group of kids (not guests at hotel)decided to have a loud parking lot party under our window at 1 am, but I called the desk and the clerk immediately addressed the problem I was impressed at the speed the noise stopped! The people who work here are truly friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. My only comment for improvement is the dim lighting in the bathroom shower. Its the vibe of a very old YMCA locker room. Those lightbulbs are really yellow and dingy looking. But that’s a minor point. The free breakfast was good. I have to force myself away from the delicious looking bacon - but the oatmeal was actually wonderful and it was so great to have a plant based “milk” option!
