The hotel lobby is nice, the complimentary breakfast is more than sufficient and the front desk staff were very friendly.
Parking is $10 per night at this property, which seems to be normal for this area.
The room was very nice. I had a standard King room. There is a large sectional sofa with plenty of room in the living area, partially separated from the bedroom with a nice refrigerator and desk. The Television sits between the two rooms. The bed is very comfortable and the climate control worked well. The sink is outside of the room with the shower and toilet. The shower had good pressure. The only minor inconvenience is that the room with the shower and toilet is very, very tiny. So tiny, in fact, that the door does not open the whole way.
You can tell slightly that this is an older property; however, what I love about this place is that they keep it well maintained and in great condition.
I would most definitely return to this Hyatt property again in the future.
However after three flights, I arrive to the hotel Sometime in the evening I don’t know perhaps seven or eight. And find out my reservation has been canceled or I don’t know what happened I called my contacts on my end and they had assured me that they were not the ones responsible for the cancellation. So as I was speaking to the lady at the front desk she was not aware of who canceled it but all she knows that someone did. They were no other rooms available and I was miles away from home and I was stranded and had no where to stay. Luckily for my subordinates were already arrived as planned on the 8th. I asked to speak with the manager, the manager wasn’t present she said that the manager doesn’t work on weekend. I just didn’t understand how a $5000 reservation was canceled and no one knew how or why. And none of the rest of my teams were canceled. The manager did nothing in situation to help me all I did was staying with one of my companions and received a room 1or 2 days later….. so my beginning experience was not the best. However as the days went on Are we going to enjoy the front desk staff they were a big help daily, when needed. My only comment was that I noticed how they treated all of the airlines (high-end clients) no matter what time it was, it was always great energy, accommodation… it would be to keep that with everyone and it will take you far.
•The Male Cook Has a very dissed tasteful disrespectful attitude and has been reported in spoken to many times by supervisors, However nothings been done about it. Because he keeps on giving like he does it multiple times with multiple people speak to other customers any type of way.
• There was a few times before the Covid rule and regulation the housekeeping staff did not clean the rooms as requested in the mornings it happened multiple days with multiple rooms and the housekeeping manager had to come in and clean the rooms, I’m assuming she gave you order it and nobody listen to her.
• One of my rooms was infested with ants one day I came in I think it was a cup on the side of the bed and it was some Gatorade and the ants were Crawling everywhere. I don’t think me or my team has ever met one manager.
We stayed at this Hyatt for our 1st anniversary and thought it would be nice to reenacted the evening.
The first room (713) had ants all over the lounging area of the room. We were told we could get another room, but we were short on time and had to leave for dinner reservations. Upon return, a bunch of ants were on our items and luggage. They were so bad we had to take 10 mins to get them off before going to next room.
Guest services was great assisting with another room (715). It turned out to be worst. The ants were in the bathroom on the counters and in the refrigerator. (Have pictures) All the food in frig and counter was thrown away
We didn’t feel comfortable lounging in room or constantly getting ants off us. My wife only stayed on the bed the whole night, that sucked!
This needs to be taken care of.
I can't speak to the breakfast or any of the other services because we arrived at 6pm and left a little after 4am. The room was subpar with the coffee maker plug not working so I had to move the coffee maker to the table. The bathroom was a little small and the vent had so much lent/dust built up inside. It seemed like housekeeping had vacuumed the vent in a year. The room was a decent size but did feel a little worn, with the bed frame having rips in the fabric.
Overall it wasn't a bad hotel, but for the price it doesn't seem worth it. Probably could have stayed at the Best Western and got the same experience without the price tag.
The room was nice and clean, with excellent temperature control. My colleague and I had to share the room, but it was super spacious and easy for us both to find places to leave our bags for easy access. The toilet was spotless and the shower was strong and hot, which was key after such a long day. The room was also equipped with a large refrigerator, coffee maker and supplies, a hairdryer, and a large flat screen TV - we couldn't have asked for too much more.
