From the moment we arrived I was impressed by Mauro as the perfect host and was welcomed with enthusiasm and passion. Positioned right in the center of the square, our well appointed room was stunning, clean and modern. Bathroom and shower the best in any accommodation I’ve stayed at so far in Sardinia. Balcony overlooking the square, and above a magical gelateria. Loved staying here and thank the travel gods for the good fortune of discovering this place.
Clean and modern rooms and very nice stuff! Altough located on the main square it is not too noisy. It is not easy to find a parking space as it is so central. In the basement is a good gelateria which is managed by La Locanda stuff. Would definitly book again!
What can I say wow! Sabrina and Mauro have thought of everything beautifully decorated all fittings done to specifications new and stylish, comfortable bed a proper B&B with a kettle and cups etc in the bedroom. Such a wonderful and warm family atmosphere you are really looked after here the B&B has its own Gelataria and coffee shop which is also run by Sabrina and Mauro. The ice creams and delicious cakes are all home baked and made fresh daily. Sabrina has a maters in ice-cream making so that says it all. La Locanda is situated IN A square in the picturesque town of Santa Teresa Gullura, Corsica is just a boat ride away sadly we didn't have time to visit ...next time. Auguri Sabrina e Mauro ci vidiamo presto x
A nice little bed and breakfast in the middle of the quaint little town of Santa Teresa. Well priced and with everything you would need. Parking was easy nearby and the booking process very efficient.
We walked in off the street and got a wonderful room on the top floor with views! It has lovely modern appointments, and an elevator to all but the very top floor where our room was (we only had to walk up one flight from the elevator terminus.) Our room was spacious with nice views from our balcony. It had a refrigerator as well as tv and wifi. Breakfast was served on the ground floor where there is a little bar and cafe with outside tables (or inside if it is too windy). Domenico was the manager who we dealt with, and was a charming young man that was also an excellent barrista! Breakfast was self service, except for the capuccino made by Domenico. Excellent value and great location, right off the main piazza. Don't miss the hiking out to the lookout where you can see across the sea to Corsica. The is a main ferry port to travel to/from Corsica. The natural deep water port is a very attractive fjord with ferry terminal and marina.…
