Inexpensive and very good Pizza. Probably the best around. Beer is also quite reasonable and the local one is actually very good.

If staying at Hotel Flamingo and want a change, it is just a 2 minute walk.

Stayed recently for a week in one of their cabins, so can't comment on the camping facilities. The location is wonderful, very quiet, just across the road from the beach (we had a view of the beach from the cabin deck), and planted beautifully which makes a difference. The site is well maintained and felt very safe. The cabin was perfectly suitable as a base (they are just like a nice caravan inside), it was clean with a decent shower and the bed was reasonably comfortable - not somewhere you'd want to spend lots of time, but if you're in Sardinia why would you want to stay inside anyway?
The site has a nice pool, a small shop with just the basics for sale really, and a very good bar/restaurant. We ate there most evenings and found the food to be very good, they also make fresh bread etc in the mornings which is excellent. The staff were all polite, and most were very friendly as well, particularly if you attempt to speak Italian!
The beach across the road is clean and beautiful, and very empty when we were there at the end of May, although the current seemed quite strong.
I think it would have been good to have had a rental car, but we coped by using the very reliable bus service to get to Santa Margherita, Pula, and Nora (all wonderful and worth visiting). The buses are not always frequent though and stop running at about 8pm, so you need to plan quite well. The bus stop is literally just outside the site entrance.
All in all, great place, very good value for money, although if you book with expedia or hotels.com the price you pay upfront does not include a final cleaning charge and local taxes which came to 41 euros on checkout. I was not expecting this and had rationed my euros to leave me with just enough for my final day so this was a bit annoying, but to be fair it was in the small print of my booking confirmation.

We've been there in the end of October 2014 and we can recommend this place! The toilets and the showers are very clean, the staff is friendly and they serve perfect coffee at the stylish bar.
The beach is across the street and in October you can feel very lonely there, we liked that.
Our dog was welcome too. This campside has opened nearly the whole year and in the off season there are less campers.
The small city pula with good restaurants is only a few minutes per car away.
Thank Maunxer
