The pleasant single storey house is located just under a kilometre outside the centre of Bosa with its orchards and fields running down to the river. We had a very friendly welcome from the couple running the farm who immediately produced orange juice. We chose the agriturismo Bainas as it was featured in 'The Rough Guide to Sardinia' with a star symbol as "a peaceful agriturismo surrounded by fields and orchards which supply its excellent restaurant" so we were slightly disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed even though we had checked the week before that the restaurant would be open. My wife and I stayed at Agriurismo Bainas for one week in mid-September of 2012. We very much enjoyed our stay with Agriturismo Bainas. We loved to walk on down the narrow country road from our place to the old church and on around the road which followed the river. It was very much like stepping into the past -- very peaceful and pleasant. the breakfast was always good and enjoyable with our host Ernasto....
