We stayed at Solar Trani in June 2012. It's a well-appointed and centrally located B&B. The breakfast vouchers (for a drink and a croissant) are for a very good coffee shop about 5 minutes walk away. The managers are in the flat opposite and are most helpful and speak good English.

Rosmary was a bit busy when we arrived so provided us with a minimum of information - unlike the enormity of helpfulness we had received at other B&B's . She and her family lived across the hall, however, and she offered her help anytime we needed it. The room itself was smallish, but pleasantly decorated, had a comfortable bed and...

B&B solar was perfect for what we needed- a really central space with a small kitchen to help keep costs down. We stayed in the self catering, high ceilinged room which had a funky modern decor, Juliette balcony and a nice little kitchen which was very useful for breakfasts and the odd evening in (there’s a bakery a few doors...

We stayed here for 1 night in May and were very happy. On arrival however we needed the help of a local who spoke no english, testiment to Italy friendliness he jumped in our car and drove us to the B&B then hoped out & went along his way, needless to say the street are narrow and many, a touch...

A bit like Venice, navigating through the one way streets and no parking areas was the only hassle. However with the little Italian I knew and the hospitality that still exists out there, a lovely stranger jumped in with us and got us there with hand signals and smiles!! We arived later than expected however were able to have dinner...

As a family traveling with three children, we found the B & B Solar was the perfect spot to enjoy lovely Trani for a long weekend in the fall. We stayed in the Barroque and Contemporary rooms, which conveniently form their own 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with interesting decor. The central location of...

We enjoyed staying in the red, modern room and the big bed was the most comfortable one we had in all our travels in Puglia. The place was pretty quiet considering it is right in the heart of town. The location makes it so easy to explore everything on foot - I think this hotel is in the very centre...

Very nice place to stay, big bathroom, very clean and comfortable. A safe choice. Don't be put off by the dingy staircase. Breakfast is good but it is a bit of a walk away. When you arrive, you have to phone - not ring the bell. The manager lives away from the site and you can ring on the bell...

Trani is a lovely relaxing town -citta slow is what is advertised and it is. Lots to see and do especially round the port. Has a great cathedral wonderfully situated and a castella. The accommodation is unusual- on the second floor but wide stairs. Each of the rooms is in a different style-we had the vibrant 70s room which is...

We stayed 4 nights in Bed and Breakfast Solar in Trani. The place looks great and is on one of the main streets in Trani. We stayed in the 70's room, it's a nice colorful room whit a great bed! The room has airconditioning and looked out on a small square. At night it was very calm. The breakfast was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our Guest House is right at the centre of the old town, 3 minutes' walk from the Marina and fishing harbour. It's in a 16th century building - completely restored in 2015 to retain its original character. We have four huge rooms, each with air conditioning, TV, mini-bar, antique and modern furniture, four metre high ceilings, and new en-suite bathrooms with Vietrese porcelain hand-made tiles. Rooms benefit from half-meter thick walls and double-glazing - so complete privacy.
